Scoutcast discuss Aguero rotation and budget defences

The Scoutcast is back once again to cover the key discussion topics ahead of Gameweek 11.

David will be joined by Az and current FFS Mods and Cons joint-leader Andy Goddard this week.

The show will run from 20:00 GMT until 21:00 GMT. You can watch it on our YouTube channel.

Up first, the Scoutcast crew will reflect on a Gameweek 10 fraught with contrasting emotions.

Andy did exceptionally well – David and Az did not.

Then, moving forward into Gameweek 11, we will tackle the Manchester City rotation debate, how seriously to take Leicester’s recent form and whether budget defences are coming back into fashion once again.

      I made that move a few weeks ago after a few Sterling blanks. So far so good, but I'm sure Sterling will come to punish soon. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering Salah-->Sterling for this weekend, but seems a bit knee jerk.

    Current defence is Otamendi* Montoyo* TAA Digne Lund. Money ITB:0.1mn
    Need a replacement for Otamendi especially for gw 12 as this gw11, I have Montoyo vs Norwich. But he had terrible game vs EVE and subbed early so will Montoyo lose his place? If yes need I need good long term defender.
    Had eyes on Lascelles but always concede vs BOU@Gw12. Is Manutd defender Maguire worth a punt then?

      I wonder if he's experimenting with playing them both and this is an easy competition to do so. Could be the beginning of the Aguero+Jesus era...or just more fraudulence. We'll see.

        I remember when he started them together at the beginning of the season before last and they were smashing it together, including a 5-0 against Liverpool.
        If I remember correctly Mendy got injured and he changed formation going back to one upfront.

          That's good to know. Will monitor the situation. I wonder how Sterling, KDB, or Dilva would fare if that switch in formation does occur. Could throw a wrench in current City owners' plans and make life easier for others.

    What to do first?
