Scoutcast discuss Aguero rotation and budget defences

The Scoutcast is back once again to cover the key discussion topics ahead of Gameweek 11.

David will be joined by Az and current FFS Mods and Cons joint-leader Andy Goddard this week.

The show will run from 20:00 GMT until 21:00 GMT. You can watch it on our YouTube channel.

Up first, the Scoutcast crew will reflect on a Gameweek 10 fraught with contrasting emotions.

Andy did exceptionally well – David and Az did not.

Then, moving forward into Gameweek 11, we will tackle the Manchester City rotation debate, how seriously to take Leicester’s recent form and whether budget defences are coming back into fashion once again.

Few ideas... 1.1 itb 2 FT

    Hendo
    TAA Perreira Tierney Lund
    KDB Mount CHO Mane
    Vardy Abraham
    (Button, Wilson, Rico, Longstaff)

    A) Button to Mcgovern (if krul is injured) to play him over Hendo in 12 and 13

    B) CHO, Wilson to Tiel, Rash

    C) Mane to Sterl

    D) Wilson, CHO to Connolly, Martial (upgrade Longstaff next week)

I think D looks best long-term, but if CHO starts it could be painful vs. Watford.

What can you do with Wilson > Connolly & upgrading Longstaff?

(Even though I'm not sure Connolly will start either. With CHO 50/50,might be plain with fire.)

Don't play a Norwich goalie ahead of anyone. The team can't defend, fixture difficulty really isn't very relevant for CS probability in their case.

    Schmeichel
    Soyuncu, Otamendi, Boly, Diop
    Salah, Mount, De Bruyne, Cantwell
    Aguero, Abraham

    Subs:Pope, Pukki, Saka, Pieters
This was my team last week.
What suggestion for transfers? Got 2FT but willing to take a -4 hit in order to make 3.

Let's try this one again... 2 FT. 0.9M ITB.

    Pope
    TAA / Pereira / Lundstram
    Mané / KDB / Maddison / Mount
    Vardy / Wilson / Abraham

    Button // Boly* / Rico / Cantwell

Not sure of my best move...

    A) Wilson/Maddison/Boly > Connelly/Sterling/Janmaat (-4)
    B) Wilson/Boly > Maupay/Robertson
    C) Other?

A is interesting, as I could play Janmaat in GW12. (Most other fixtures are poo.) However it's a downgrade I'll likely want to move back to Robertson, and that'll likely be via dropping Sterling/KDB... so is it pointless?

C is good, although I have a benching headache. Reluctant to bench Lundstram for that fixture, can't bench the Liverpool defenders and... basically not sure who else.

Look at someone other than Robertson?

    Pope
    TAA Soyuncu Lundstram
    Mount Mane Kdb CHO
    Vardy Abra Kun
    Button - Rico - Boly* - Dendo (0.8itb 1ft)
Various issues with Kun, Boly and CHO...
    A. Hold for this week and reassess.
    B. Kun and Den to sterling and Connolly.

This season the big underpriced consistent players are Vardy, KDB, Abraham, Mount, Leicester midfield period, Lundstram. Gotta have them

    Pope , (McGovern)
    TAA, Dunk, Lundstram (Soyuncu, Rico)
    Mane, KDB, Maddison, Mount, (Dendoncker)
    Aguero (c), Wilson, Abraham

2FT, 0.0 ITB - any ideas? Thinking its time for Wilson to exit...

    Wilson + Dendoncker -> Connelly + Martial (3-5-2)

Mulan is great this week but long term prefer Jimenez. Reckon Jimenez could score against Arsenal too

      Wouldn't lose Tammy vs. Watford.

Maupay is interesting, but you'll want rid of him after Norwich possibly (fixtures).

Yes, particularly when you see Brighton's fixtures after he 11, and Jimenez gw 12 vs Vardy's. Can't have them all. Plan to get in Vardy for gw 13 or 14 if you really want him, Ings could be an enabler with some very promising fixtures coming up.

Vardy has Arsenal at home GW12, that's an amazing fixture for an attacker.

Still prefer Jimenez in isolation for gw 12. And Tammy Vs gw12 Maupay or a ft less is a nobrainer.

    Good to save this week?

    Pope
    TAA Mendy Lundstram
    Sterling (C) KDB Son Mount
    Vardy Abraham Jiminez

    Button; Soyuncu, Montoya, Guendouzi...1FT, .2itb

Bench seem right? Tough call between Lundy, Montoya and Soyuncu

Aguero playing and getting a brace has just made my decision to do Aguero, Cantwell to Vardy, Dilva even harder. Should I do it?

the question is can you live with yourself if you sell aguero and he scores 20 points on saturday ? 🙂

Will kun start the weekend? That's The chance you take. Him coming on for 1pt and the recent game time he's had made me get rid 30 min ago for Vardy. Now I have money to upgrade my defence.

I'm thinking of a Dilva Sterling KDB triple up for weekend.

    Or maybe just get Teilmans?

Maby Tielmans is smarter. Never know for sure who start against Southampton. And then the Pool game, pluss Chelsea right around the corner.
