Liverpool and Manchester City’s meeting at Anfield on Sunday is likely to temper enthusiasm for the popular premium options – and could increase pressure on our mid-price and budget assets.

With that in mind, our player of choice this week is John Lundstram (£4.8m) who simply won’t stop making FPL history this season.

After that, we’ll update you on the current differential and clean sheet standings.

        He's a fairly significant rotation risk though and then he has a ton of travel with the US and comes back to City away. It's honestly not ideal.

1FT... keep Wilson for 2 more or no? I would probably get Deulofeu/Ings as that gives me budget to do Martial to Mane.

I could get Jimenez but that would mean I'd have to take out KdB / Sterling to get Salah / Mane in rather than Martial.

  No way I am doubling up on that defence. Cleanies are none existent, so you're justifying Robbo & TAA with the 'they're basically just wingers' argument. Both currently averaging 1 return in 3, not bad but hardly prolific, plenty of cheaper options with a similar or higher PPG in both defence and midfield. One of them is enough.

Lee passing on Vardy seems like a really big mistake.

You have to pick differentials but you can't ignore essentials. There are some players that are clearly great value this season. Vardy and KdB are big examples.

Vardy is playing for a Leicester team that is performing like a top 4 team. I thought about skipping out on him too, but it's madness. He even has great fixtures going for him. You can punt on things in midfield. The likes of Maddison, Pulisic, Martial, Tielemans can all be changed up, but there are some spine players like Abraham, KdB, Mane and Vardy this season that you should not ignore.

      I did a similar move last season when Auba wasn't considered as 'value' then Auba scored 4 goals in 50 minutes, in games I had planned on captaining him for. Been scarred ever since. I'm keeping him, and just need to hope the Vardy party ends early, hehe.
