All eyes on Chelsea after disappointing start to Gameweek 23

Many Fantasy Premier League managers are relying on Chelsea assets to bail them out after a disappointing start to Gameweek 23.

With Manchester City largely frustrated by Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, there is increased pressure on the final three fixtures of the weekend.

As expected Tammy Abraham (£7.9m) starts up-front and is flanked by Callum Hudson-Odoi (£5.3m) and Willian (£7.2m).

There is also a third consecutive start at right-back for Reece James (£5.0m), while Andreas Christensen (£4.9m) and Antonio Rüdiger (£6.0m) are chosen at centre-back.

Newcastle are boosted by a return to fitness for winger Allan Saint-Maximin (£5.4m) who starts in a four-man midfield on the opposite flank to Miguel Almirón (£5.8m).

Newcastle United XI: Dúbravka; Willems, Fernández, Lascelles, Clark, Krafth; Almirón, Shelvey, Hayden, Saint-Maximin; Joelinton.

    KdB's next 6 fixtures. Arsenal very likely to be rescheduled due to Cup Final, KdB will play deeper in the majority of these games.

    KdB to Son? Son faces Norwich, Villa, Burnley in this time and I'm going on Wednesday so want a spurs attacker 😉

          I am considering the same thing. I even took -4 (Rico to Williams) to afford to get KdB back.

          The problem is Mourinho. But he did take Alli out and Son was central after that. Second guessing him is hard, but he isn't happy with Alli and that result. And he is Jose. So I expect him to change formation. It is everything but certain though.

          Yet, I have lost ground and need to climb in ranks. So I will probably do it and get him. There is no better transfer to do imo.

          Spurs look terrible in attack. So much sideways passing and not enough risk-taking. Aurier puts in crosses and there is noone in the box to put it in. Alli can't pass properly. Winks and Lo Celso are afraid of passing the ball forward.

      Son is a head case. He might haul or he can get another stupid red card.

      Plus, the spurs wheels are barely on. This team is teetering on collapse. Alli tantrum after a bad game shows no respect for manager.

      If Spurs were a restaurant - the employees would openly cough and flies would cover the tables. The employees don’t care at all.

    So the plan is to change Jiménez to Rashford if he is fit - but if he is not, what would you do? Keep Jiménez or do a transfer, max 9.3 million:

          Ings is class and a grafter unlike some who get credit for tap ins and penalties. As soon as Mourinoh asks them to put on a shift, they get injured. No wonder big teams aren't calling. Too slow, no tricks.

            Best part of my GW is that atleast I did Rashford to Ings so my 11 from 6 would not have been better 🙂
