Scoutcast crew debate whether to Wildcard after Double Gameweek 24

Fresh from, what was for many, a disastrous outcome of the Triple Captain, the Scoutcast are moving onto the next chip: the second Wildcard.

The Fantasy Premier League community has been debating the best time to press the overhaul button and we’ll bring you our thoughts tonight.

Join Joe, Az and Lee for the latest episode of the Scoutcast at 20:00 GMT on our YouTube channel.

The three pundits will give their views on the Wildcard as well as what to do with the injured Sadio Mané (£12.4m).

The Liverpool man, heavily backed for the Triple Captaincy in Double Gameweek 24, has already been ruled out of the game against West Ham and is a major doubt for Gameweek 25 too.

Is now the time to sell or hold Mané? Joe, Az and Lee will discuss that in some depth.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Leicester will be going head-to-head in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg so we will do our best to bring you updates from that game.

    Any one think it's wise to do Aguero + Martial for Mane and Abraham for -4
    Alternatively my failed punt of Balbuena, (sigh) I could do Mane and Balbuena out for Robertson and Son/Alli/Mahrez or just roll the transfer and assess after the break?

    With Cantwell also a doubt, might be struggling to get a starting 11, could also do Balbuena for Williams or Newcastle defender just to get a sure 11, thanks.

    Flip flopping more than a Brazilian Havaianas salesman. Keep Mané or sell?!

    Bought at 11.7. Issue obv is we don’t really know how fit he’ll be by NOR/ if Klopp will wrap him in cotton wool. My options:

    A) Soy, Cantwell > Lascelles, Traoré (-4) and bench Mané
    B) Soy > Lascelles (FT)
    C) Mané, DCL > Traoré, Auba (-4)
    D) Mané, DCL > Traoré, Kun (-4)
    E) Mané, DCL > Son, Jimi (-4)
    F) Mané > Traoré (FT)

      Similar set up

      I’d hold Mane as an attacking ploy. The Mo Mane double up from 26/7 could be quite the differential and there are a good few weeks for it to pay off. Sold TAA about this time last year and never managed to get him back

        You’re right that it’ll be a good differential. My issue is the total uncertainty around how fit he’ll be by NOR, whether Klopp will wrap him in cotton wool etc

        Tbh I can’t imagine I’d have kept them both long term. It’s too many eggs in that basket when so much value elsewhere. So I think selling might be right move. With E I’m just unsure if Son is a good pick in a poor Spurs team with pretty poor fixtures.
