With Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£8.2m) set for a spell on the sidelines and a ban ruling Michail Antonio (£7.9m) out of Gameweek 5, many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers are unexpectedly in the market for a new forward.
At the time of writing, the pair are the two most-sold forwards in FPL, but should we be selling them, and if so, who are the best replacements?

Arsenal fans or anyone in the know is it worth getting Odegaard for upcoming fixtures? Obviously could go Everton route for around that price. But given the fixtures and Everton with no DCL could Odegaard be a better option? How has he looked in full games involved in play?

Don't think he's a great FPL asset. He's more the assist the assisted type and very rarely scores.
ESR may be a better FPL asset, he's more lively.

I think ESR will play most games. Can play centrally as well as out wide, so has options.
Have a feeling Smith Rowe will be one of the few bright lights for Arsensl this season and for 5.5, he could turn out to be a real bargain if Arteta sorts his s---t out.
He is actually 5.3 so could be an even better steal. That is just above DMC prices in fpl.
For that price, he's worth the punt. Arsenal's fixtures are great and I don't think they'll play crap forever.

I had considered him for gw7 ish I would rather pay the extra and go Rüdiger and James as my Chelsea double defence.

I WC last week and had a similar draft to that for the full IB break until Friday evening, where I opted for the more 'balanced' team with CR7/Antonio/DCL up front.
You can imagine how disappointed I am after the weekend.
I brought in dcl last week as well. Can’t argue with the choices you made at the time, just really unlucky

Auba would be brave but such a big differential makes him so appealing.
Quite fancy lukaku against Spurs and although less likely if anyone scores against Man City I think he’s got potential.
Just have a feeling Bamford will struggle with second season syndrome and jiminez is sitting a bit deeper (plus still recovering).
Other point with this front 3 I can cover off Leeds, wolves and Man U with raphina, traore and Greenwood.

The issue I have with getting Ronaldo then selling him for lukaku gw7 is that you ll want him back for that insane utd run from gw14 and by then his price might have gone through the roof. I just think, even though it makes the team too unbalanced, if the right option is just not to get them both and salah.
