58 all out with Lamptey left to play, big score from him & I’ll be very happy. No hit & no FH played.

29 with Ronaldo (C) and DDG..

Had Lucas, Tierney, Laca etc in FH draft. Would have had 67 with CR and DDG left

Repost for new article. Arsenal vs. Wolves is off.

    https://twitter.com/Wolves/status/1475186177854648320

Wolves match getting cancelled isn't great news for the following United fixture, but it is at least on 3rd January which is 8 days from now. Current player isolations may be over by then.

The irony here is many moaned about the extra free hit chip, saying it hindered those who “planned”. What plans exactly? This is chaos. I find it amusing many are talking about using it for a DGW. Will it even be a DGW for most teams? So much uncertainty right now. It’s exhausting.

To be fair I'm in that crowd. Didn't play FH last week, didn't play it this week and thus far wouldn't need to play it next week either.

The extra FH has probably affected my negatively over this period. Not saying I'm unlucky since I'm also lucky to be able to field 9 the last two weeks, but goalposts moved 🙂

    B. 39 with 1 hit
    C. 65 with FH and 2 players left

26 plus 2 players (Sanchez and Ronaldo) is a sucessful FH right?

I know coronavirus is spreading quickly but it seems quite interesting that all the Wolves players seemed to have had boosters on Monday. Not a conspiracy theory against vaccines, but it'd be interesting if that may have contributed to false positives.

That's 100% correct. Wolves had been doing well containing it, it's just a bit disappointing as a Wolves fan that they've got ended up having to cancel despite their positive attitude.

Allowing clubs to add injuries to Covid cases to get games postponed is a very slippery slope...

What injuries count? A broken leg or hammy or is just a niggle enough?

No U23 players to call up?

How on earth do we navigate through this? I had 9 straight green arrows until omicron hit. Don't want to make light of it as FF is trivial when people are getting very sick.

What I fail to understand is why the premier league hasn't called a circuit breaker as it's simply unfair for some of the clubs to have a backlog whilst others haven't. Additionally allowing fans into the stadia doesn't make any sense when it's so much more transmisable than previous variants.

What does the circuit breaker really do though? When they come back the same issues will arise except now they have even less space to fit in games

It's annoying for sure but barring going back to extra cautious rules it'll just be continuously like this

In terms of FF, i'd suggest taking as few hits as possible, and the FPL should really change the time of the deadline until line ups are revealed.

I don’t like how this season has become an uneven lottery with these random postponements but I don’t agree with that.

If they changed the deadline so we knew the lineups, it would make the game even more boring.

        Luck & also not panicking.

        - Salah > Son was looking a terrible move until he scored with last touch of his game
        - Complete variance with City returns (or literally all excpet Bernardo & Foden 😆 )
        - Chelsea CS loss unlucky, freak OG.

Just keep playing, the luck of cancellations will even out for you roughly over time

What good will not letting fans in do when kids are still at school, people still at the pub etc? What about lower league clubs who genuinely rely on ticket sales to stay afloat ?

If the government doesn’t impose restrictions and add financial support the PL won’t go out on a limb and impose its own circuit breaker.

Not sure if it’s the right or wrong outcome but the decision is largely based around money.

The whole thing is starting to feel very unfair and unsporting. Real life and the far less important FPL 🙂 . Feels very wrong to me that some teams are having to play fixtures with a severely weakened team whilst others with just one or 2 more out get to delay the fixture to a later date.

I appreciate the Premier League want to carry on but if we’re carrying on then all should carry on. Some teams are going to play a lot more of their games in a better squad condition. Very unsporting.

If a circuit breaker would help fix the problem I would agree but in this case it seems that it was just going to add more fixtures to be rescheduled. I think we have to just throw norms out the window and do our best in light of the circumstances without overreacting like many will.

Would you be happy with a gain of 13 points + whatever Dalot gets on a FH + still having Salah for Leicester? FH team did well but unfortunately my regular team would've had Saka and Lacazette (went for Tierney and Martinelli instead on FH).

What to do with this for next week with Arsenal blank..

        Ederson | Steele
TAA Cancelo Davies Alonso | Tierney
Jota Mount Son Silva | ESR
        Lacazette* Antonio | Scarlett

I am currently ranked 10k overall with 1ft and 2.3m to spend.

        Thinking of:
        Silva > Salah
        Laca > Broja

Or I could just still go without salah with AFCON looming and go Laca > DCL?

Covid will put a stop to that.
