    I have been on

    A. TAA & Morris

for a while, but thinking of going with

    B. Chilwell & Watkins

    instead.

Think different? Or drink the Kool-Aid?

Think B as Morris blanks in GW2, Villa fixtures decent long term for Watkins and if Chilwell doesn't perform plenty at his price to move around. I'm dithering with TAA tbh not sure he's worth it.

I think B outscores A by some distance early doors.

Morris would be rotating well with Joao Pedro. Chilwell would have to play every week...

      nice, but..

really not sure about foden (for minutes)

also, just curious, is beyer nailed? i ve gone anderson from luton

i also would pick pedro rather than wissa for brighton attack cover. or mitoma instead of foden and invest 1.5 elsewhere

Makes sense. Logic with foden was to give him a couple of weeks and if nothing happens with him downgrade him to a 6.5 and Wissa up to Nkunku or straight switch to Maddison. Think could start with your idea just aa easily though, just not sure how good brightons fixtures are, after luton they are not that great are they?

I am finding the defense hard to chose, as I want to avoid:
    Pep roulette
Arsenal - who I do not trust defensively.

Currently on Chilwell, Cash, Estu, and two back ups.
Will consider Botman too, when the tough fixtures are over.

What are your thoughts on this?

I am more confident in arsenal now rice is there but historically you are right not to trust arsenal. Same with casemiro at utd, chelsea would be better if caicedo deal gets done. Maybe a rotation with teams that play alternately at home? Villa/Brentford 4.5s?

Hmm. Have normally not rotated as I find it too random. I guess until the WC, it is a decent option. Cheers!

Rice certainly helps Arsenal, but their keeper is not solid.

I hear you on randomness of rotation (100% for GKS) but some decent mid table teams (villa, Brentford, sometimes wolves etc) for some reason defend way better at home than so im trying it this year with Defs alongside regulars. If one emerges to be decent home or away then 1st sub is sorted. Might go wrong and ill WC out of it like u said.

    A) Rashford, Diaby, Wissa, Mitoma Estupinan 3-5-2

    B) Bruno, Eze, Pedro, Watkins, Pau 3-4-3

not keen on Wissa or Pedro(rotation).
Formation wise, I prefer the 352 with all the good, decent priced attacking options in midfield.

    A) Rashford Botman (352)
    B) Watkins Chilwell (343)

A likely to do better GW1, but B probably better for the long term..?

Depends if B has Bruno instead of Rashford? You need one of those two imo.

So are thinking Joao Pedro is nailed now?
Pedro + Martinelli looks a lot more exciting than DCL + Grealish.

DCL + Grealish hasn’t looked exciting since Grealish was at Villa.

Long-term, who knows with Kudus and all.... but he looked absolutely electric yesterday. Pretty confident he starts Luton & he's in for me. Pedro & Martinelli is a lot, lot better than Grealish & DCL imo

    Which option:

    A) Chilwell - Mitoma - Wissa
    B) Pinnock (or any 4.5 def) - Odegaard - Pedro

    Current def & mids - Gabriel - Estupinan - 4.0 - 4.0
    Salah - Saka - Rashford - Eze

Wissa or Pedro for 3rd striker? Went wissa over Ferguson originally coz of rotation at BHA and Wissa security of mins/better fixtures

See below, exactly what I’m struggling with too! Would love to go with pedro but worried about rotation risk….

I'd argue that Wissa is potentially just as much of a rotation risk as Pedro. I have always liked Wissa though, he's just never been assured of regular minutes

Surely this season without Toney for the opening fixtures Wissa is secure?

You would like to think so but they could just as easily play Schade, Mbuemo and Keane Lewis-Potter and they have Damsgaard too, so there is some risk there

But all of those except for Schade have starting spots and Schade is a winger so why would any take Wissa's spot?

Still tinkering. Is wissa the best option up front for that price? Leaves me zero in bank…

    Pickford (areola)
Gabriel, Estupian, Cash ( baldock, kabore)

    Saka, Martinelli, rashford, salah, Eze

    Wissa, Haaland (mubama)

I'd be tempted to go J.Pedro and bank the extra 0.5m for a bit more flexibility. Brighton much better in attack....

I think Wissa is the best option, considering him myself. Pedro won’t be a permanent fixture in the team with the incredible young talent of Ferguson there.

Think it really comes down to Rashford + Watkins vs Salah + Pedro. The rest of the players are similar in most teams.

Salah + Pedro to start based on fixtures. Gradually switch to Rashford + Watkins.

Ferguson will eat your not Pedro’s minutes unless he can play right or left

I've been on TAA since my first draft, but I'm starting to doubt Liverpool's defence the more I think about it. They were poor defensively last season and now they've lost Fabinho, Henderson and Milner (I know he was a bit of a bit part player) so you'd imagine they'll have even less protection this season. Is TAA to Chilwell the sensible move? Can't help but want TAA for the Bournemouth fixture.....

My thoughts are that he might become an affordable luxury when bargains start to appear as the season progresses but at that moment he's not worth 8m.

Strange how this one penalty yesterday completely sold me on Joao Pedro.

Thought I had it sorted and now got a couple of yellows!

    Onana
    Tarkowski / Gabriel / Estupinan
    Saka / Salah / Mbeumo / Mitoma / Eze
    Haaland / Watkins

    Bench - Areola / Botman / Andersen / Archer

Got 1m ITB. Not sure maybe upgrade Tarkowski to 5.5 def. Could change Onana back to 4.5m keeper too.
