FPL Clarification – The Checklist

There still seems to be some confusion amongst the Fantasy Premier League community regarding a number of elements associated with the changes implemented by the game this week.

To clarify matters, we’ve put together a list of points that has, this afternoon, been checked and confirmed by the FPL.

  • Transfers made this week are all free. Any points deducted from your total will be refunded to you once the Gameweek two deadline has passed.
  • Any Wildcards played in advance of Gameweek two will be returned to players once the Gameweek two deadline has passed.


  • The number of transfers you make in advance of Gameweek two’s deadline will be wiped and reset to zero once the deadline passed. This will mean that they will not count against you and become a factor should you be tied on points with a manager in your mini-league.


  • Price rises are frozen ahead of Gameweek two. Once the deadline has passed all transfer totals that are collected by players will be reset. Therefore, players will need to accrue further transfers in and transfers out next week in order to have their price rise or fall.


  • Gameweek one points will remain in the game and count towards the FPL overall points tallies. Mini-league admins can decide to reset their mini-leagues to start on Gameweek two should they wish. In the interest of those managers unable to log in and make changes prior to Gameweek one, Fantasy Football Scout will reset their mini-leagues accordingly.

    Is anyone else still having problems with mini-leagues.

    Two of my friends joined the league over the weekend, but their names don't show up in the league table (nor in the "pending entries" section).

    Any advice?

    in previous years you could click on the final score on the home page to see how many points each player got for the game for their club. when clicking on the final score on the fixtures screen nothing comes up. does anyone know if this is a fault that will be rectified or will we not be able to have a breakdown of every points scored for each player in the game?

      IS suspect that Downing + Carroll might link up well together. Give it a few GWs, see how they get on. As much as I like Suarez, I reckon Carroll will score more goals over the season.

              VDV looking good v Hearts at the mo. so i'd say the top midfield options are(in no order):-Nani,Young,Malouda,Silva,VDV. maybe your right -going large up front may well pay off with new bonus point system being a factor as well.

      I am part of the crowd delaying on Aguero. I am going with Rooney Torres and Saha. Maybe use the money to upgrade one of your mids to Silva.

      difficult to say

      my logic is that you want attacking representives from each big club (Man U, Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Pool)

      Reality is that its impossible!

      Currently i am favouring Man U, Chelsea, City therefore you want either:

      silva or yaya/aguero
      young or nani/rooney
      malouda or lamps/torres or drogs

      you have those boxes ticked imo.

      Keepers- given to play most
      Def- 2 clean sheets and derby.
      Mid- lamps could be great the next 2 games. Arteta could be in the goals vs QPR. Others are standard picks on here.
      Att- suarez should get something against an ars. If torres doesn't get in the goal in the next 2 games he may aswell retire. Holt don't know much about him, very popular pick.
