Peter “not the face” Crouch has decided to go ahead with the operation on his broken nose suffered against Sheffield Utd, and will therefore be absent from selection for Liverpool and England for a month. Crouch was thinking of putting of the opertation until the end of the season but has now opted to get it over and done with. Crouch will now miss the Liverpool games against Villa and Arsenal with a possible return lined up for the first game in April against Reading [soruce]

This of course cements Kuyt and Bellamy in the Liverpool side for those two games. Fowler is another factor but isn’t likely to start in front of these two. Fantasy Managers previously wary of Rafa rotation up front, can therefore snap up the Liverpool forwards safe in the knowledge that Crouch is bandaged up and in the stands until April.
