→ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

With a bag full of points from the Scout Picks last gameweek, it was a surprise to see our Paddy Power wallet containing nothing but a used train ticket and a couple of crumpled receipts. Robert Huth’s early red card set the tone, with Sergio Aguero’s goal and a win at 4/5 the only market to come in. With Talent and Watchlist figures Gylfi Sigurdsson and Yakubu Aiyegbeni the main course of this week’s Flutter, it’s sure to be a feeding frenzy of rich returns.

The Yak is back. Whilst serving his three-match ban for a red card against Fulham, Yakubu’s Blackburn have slipped from their manager-saving form, topped off by a trouncing by Arsenal last weekend. Seemingly a talisman for the Kean revival, the sorely-missed striker will be essential to their tactics against visiting QPR on Saturday. Paddy have priced up a goal and a win at 5/2 and a brace at 9/1 . Both are tempting, but £2 on the former opens our account for another game-week.

Gylfi Sigurdsson has been around a bit since his early loan spells at Shrewsbury and Crewe. A 16-goal season for Reading and subsequent sale to Hoffenheim have cultured the 22 year old into a real creative force for the Swansea midfield. A pound at 20/1 for him to score and assist against visiting Norwich is a long price and a bit of a risk, but one worth taking since he performed the same feat against West Brom last week on the road.

Clint Dempsey has been the mainstay for Fantasy line-ups for many seasons now, always commanding a decent performance to Fantasy point conversion. Not a cheap prospect, but neither the lavish cost of Silva or Nani, Dempsey’s price of 8.9 is likely to continue to rise with favourable home and away fixtures coming up. A visit from Stoke may well be one of the tougher clashes of the next few, but Paddy’s offering of 5/2 on a Dempsey goal and a Fulham win is not short on confidence. A £4 stake here should bring home £14; a decent wager considering suspended Robert Huth will only be able to track Dempsey’s runs from the sidelines.

Last week’s ‘Who Will Score the Most’ market turned in a respectable 5 goals, and although our pick Demba Ba was among those on the score sheet, Robin van Persie’s battering of Blackburn left us empty handed. This week Rooney, RVP and Aguero are in the mix, but perhaps facing off against tougher competition. Aguero at 15/8 is the longest price of the trio as City travel to Villa, but with only a couple of quid left from our tenner bank roll, it might be a risk worth taking.

Money Back Special

All eyes will be on Old Trafford for the early Gameweek 25 kick-off between Man United and Liverpool tomorrow lunchtime. No surprise, then, to see Paddy focus on this one for this week’s Money Back Special. If Luis Suarez scores a goal at any point in the match, Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score & scorecast singles. Paddy have also turned their attentions to this weekend’s Six Nations Rugby. If a number 11 scores the first try in the Italy v England, France v Ireland or Wales v Scotland clashes, Paddy Power will refund all losing try scorer bets on that match.
