Saturday Surgery – Gameweek 2

Filed under: Matchday Surgery - Posted by: Mark

As another Fantasy football deadline creeps towards us, we swing the doors open on the Surgery Chatroom to cater for all those looking to share some thoughts and gather advice in real-time.

It’s been another busy few days, with Gameweek 1 giving us more than enough to chew over. Michu’s ascendency has been quite extraordinary, while the emergence of Eden Hazard and the arrival of Robin Van Persie has scrambled our pre-season thinking and forced re-organisation. Should United’s Dutchman make an impact against Fulham today, we’re likely to see a further frenzy in the week to come.

Last night we, of course, published our second Scout Picks of the season offering our snapshot of those players backed for profit this weekend. That was followed by this week’s Differential in which Swansea’s Danny Graham got to peep out from behind Michu to get some attention. All your team news, along with predicted lineups is gathered here, while this week’s ScoutCast (with blossoming listening figures for the new season – thanks) can be found here with another preview of the action to come.

The Captain poll, again with over 8000 votes, sits in the middle column offering a view on the armband dilemma, while our members can soak up Paul’s analysis of the new playmakers via this latest “Versus” article. With the Watchlist returning this week and James McClean coming under focus, that should give you plenty to absorb in the next hour. The Pre-match Preamble is on its way…

    Why is Rvp pictured above with Arsenal ? Do they not know he has left the club, looks very unprofessional IMO especially if any tourists or visitors were about :-;

      It’s the standard surgery image…I’ll update it for next week. Not surprisingly, such tasks slipped down the pecking order for the season start point.

        No worries , maybe we could have a vote on which picture to use in future : eg , tevez and Mancini or Suarez shaking hands with Evra !
        Btw thanks for all your hard work- it doesn’t go unappreciated.

    Mata / Cazorla / yaya
    Defoe (c) / Pog / Torres

    Jussi / Noble / klakini / stevens

    Is it worth a last minute -4 Torres to RVP?

    I have 3.9 in the bank???
