Saturday Dugout Discussion

Filed under: Dugout Discussion - Posted by: Mark

With just minutes to go before Gameweek 4 is upon us via the early kick-off at Carrow Road, we’ve opened up Dugout Discussion to allow you to share Saturday’s action in real-time with your Fantasy Football peers.

West Ham’s trip to Norwich is followed by a further seven Premier League fixtures with most eyes focused on the teamsheet and events at Old Trafford, as Robin Van Persie carries the hopes and armband for thousands of Fantasy managers against the Latics. Liverpool take on Sunderland in the late-kick off to round matters off.

We’ll follow all today’s action up with a couple of Stock Reports shortly after the whistles start blowing. See you on the other side.

  1. I have been out of contact a bit today. Team was poor. Any idea why Petric wasn't even on bench? I think I may replace him with Berbatov unless anyone has a better suggestion for 7.1 or less?

    1. I already got Berbatov in. Do it man.

    2. good fixtures and a penalty taker for 6.9. bargain.

  2. Guys, I just added a small and quick function so that we can see the average of the scores in our leagues at any point of given time. It should be there for all the Uefa Council Leagues available on the respective fixtures space.

  3. Trying to stay positive, I'm determined that this will be the worst week I have all season.

  4. I've got Petric and Zabaleta whom I want to get rid of. All of my 7 other midfielders/attackers play at home. Zaba is one of two defenders that play at home. The other defenders are Gunter, Cuellar, Hangeland and Saylor. The other attackers are Graham and Tevez. 3.8 in the bank.

    1) Zaba -> Baines
    2) Petric -> ?
    3) Save transfer

  5. This week I have 2 free transfers and was thinking of doing Zab->Demel and Pog->Berbatov and then next week A.Cole->Baines. Leaving me with 0.9M in the bank if there are no price changes. Good plan??

  6. how many point is everyone on? im doing awful

    http://fantasy.premierleague.c.....history/4/

would be great if you could give me some tips on my team.

  7. berba or fletcher in the long run?

  8. should i keep michu or is his good streak over?

  9. The next scout article should be fletcher v Berbatov.
And quick before the price rises!
    And falls (Petric).

  10. Cuellar off with his hammy.

  11. anybody watching the liverpool game? how they doing generally?

    1. the usual, they control the field well but failed to make any result from it.

  12. lol cuellar got subbed. at least he get to keep the CS

    1. nope, gotta play 60 mins for that

      1. Rub it in wont ya

    2. GW 4 fail confirmed then

  13. Putting on an old post as for some reason it never appears where it's supposed to on the new one

What should I do with this lot for next week?

    Migs

    Baines, Hangeland, Davies

    Michu, Hazard, Johnson, Noble

    Tevez, Torres, RvP

    Fed, Marv, Clyne, Rafael

    0.1 in bank

    Torres to Berba/Lambert
    Rafa to Demel/Lowton/Clark
    Noble to Maloney
    Save it?

    1. I'd be tempted to save. I'm advocating Lambert for the next few games
      Southampton score against anyone.

  14. Bertrand and Cuellar subbed off and Demel and jussi on the bench. Moan moan moan etc.

    1. Bad day mate, there is always next week

  15. Keep the faith with lambert or upgrade to one of the two new star strikers?

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”
