After Saturday’s feast of action, we’ve just a paltry single encounter to pour over today. However, it’s a feisty Black Country derby between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion. The Dugout Discussion is open, and the team news from Villa Park is in, and is as follows…

Aston Villa XI: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Bennett, El Ahmadi, Delph, Albrighton, Holman, Agbonlahor, Benteke.

West Brom XI: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Popov, Mulumbu, Yacob, Gera, Morrison, Brunt, Long.

Darren Bent is the surprise omission from Paul Lambert’s side, with the England striker relegated to the bench. Albion’s Macedonian defender Goran Popov gets his first league start, and Chris Brunt and Shane Long are back in the side after missing the midweek Capital One Cup tie.

        don't think there is a fall out, enrique has been playing really awfully thats all. Very, very badly. the youngsters are a lot better than him so far too.

    Would really appreciate a few opinions. would i be wise sacrificing RVP so i can bring in aguerro and gervinho for britton?? or should i hold on2 rvp for newcastle and stoke, and focus more on changing my defense for now?

      You have a front 7 you can play every week. No need to have a 5th decent option in midfield. Focus on the defence, its weak.

        would be great to have the rotation option but, especially with mcclean away to man city this week. The rvp transfer may be needed to fund the defence upgrade

      As you can see, with Guthrie dropped I only have 10 players for next week. So what should I do?:

      A) Berba -> Lambert to field XI
      B) Tevez -> Ba, Berba -> Lambert for -4
      C) Tevez -> Ba, Yaya -> Bale -4 and hope Berba will be fit
      D) Wildcard.

        If he gets flagged people will start transferring him out so he won't rise. If not he'll continue getting transfers in.

      Evening all, not a good week for myself...just after some opinions...

      Gk and defence I have no issues with.

      Front 8:

      Hazard Cazorla Yaya Pienaar Guthrie

      Berba RVP Lambert.

      1.1m in the bank and 1FT...

      Considering the following:

      Guthrie -> Sterling - and play 5mid and 2 strikers next week, keeping Berba until his return.
      Berba -> Ba
      Hazard/Guthrie -> Bale/Morrison or Sterling - it'd be a 4point hit but Bale seems to be on form and it'd give me a decent 5 across midfield.
