The Weekend Team News

Filed under: Team News - Posted by: Mark

It’s swings and roundabouts as Marouane Fellaini is ruled out for the Toffees’ trip to QPR, while Dimitar Berbatov will make a return for Fulham as they prepare to host Villa. Alan Pardew can welcome both Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor back to his defence for the Tyne-Wear derby clash…

As expected, David Silva will miss out for Man City at the Hawthorns, while on the red side of Manchester, Ashley Young returns to the mix as Sir Alex prepares for the clash with Stoke. Sam Allardyce doesn’t rate Guy Demel’s chances of making the visit of Southampton, while Arsene Wenger’s claim that Jack Wilshere needs more time is somewhat undermined by the player’s agent who reveals that he’s in the squad for the Norwich trip.

All this and more have found their way into our Team News section, which includes our view on the likely lineups for the Gameweek. As always, keep ‘em peeled for the very latest updates via our Twitter feed.

    Triggalicious says:

If I were to have RVP in my WC team, it would look a little something like this ..

    Jaask, Bego

    Baines, Hughes, Wilson, Figueroa, Gorkss

    Sant, Bale, HBA, Pie, Kebe

    RVP, Ba, Berbs

Worth looking at? The defence is obviously cheap, but looks half decent?

But then I might still take RVP out for Aguero for next GW.

his home games against SWA and TOT aren’t followed by a CL game in midweek.

Very nice, absolutely. Not sure on Fig though, i think i’d prefer Cuellar. Or maybe even Clark, he has great attacking stats!

Which combination of transfer would you pick? I’m wildcarding in two weeks so I’m stocking up on Arsenal players.

    A) Tevez to Giroud (2 FT’s next week)
    B) Tevez to Giroud and Hazard to Cazorla
    C) Tevez to Giroud, Hazard to Cazorla and Lescott to Vermaelen (-4)
    D) Hazard to Cazorla (2 FT’s next week)
    E) Tevez to Giroud, Hazard to Cazorla and Clyne/Davies to Mertesacker (-4)

    I Am Your Father says:

Seriously tempted the armband off Suarez and replace with Cazorla. I just think Suarez might disappoint me yet again tomorrow.

I also have RVP as an option but the stoke defence is pretty resilient imo.

    Any thoughts?

Any tips would be good. 0.5m in the bank, 1FT

    ———-Howard
    Baines–Gibbs–Cole
    Bale–Pienaar–Michu–Yaya
    RVP(c)–Berba(vc)–Fletcher

Subs: Fed (inj) – Sterling – Barnett – Gibbs (Inj)

Gibbs getting injured is just unfortunate.

    Transfers:

Cole out – Wilson (next week) or Risse (this week) – Can afford Corzola next week for Yaya
Gibbs out – Risse (no Corzola) —- Wilson in (money for Corzola)
