Just the one game to keep us ticking over today, as Fulham play host to out-of-sorts Sunderland. Plenty will be hoping for another big haul from Dimitar Berbatov after a rare blank from Robin Van Persie at Norwich yesterday. As always, our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open ahead of the 4pm kick off:

The team news is as follows:

Martin Jol makes three changes from the side that drew 3-3 at Arsenal last Saturday. The alterations all come in midfield, with Damien Duff coming in for Ashkan Dejagah on the right, while Alex Kacaniklic steps in for the injured Kieran Richardson on the opposite flank. Veteran Giorgos Karagounis earns his first league start for the Cottagers – he partners Steve Sidwell in the centre, with Mahamadou Diarra injured and Chris Baird serving a one-match suspension.

Schwarzer; Riether, Hughes, Hangeland, Riise; Duff, Karagounis, Sidwell, Kacaniklic; Ruiz, Berbatov

For Sunderland, Martin O’Neill makes two alterations from last week’s defeat at Everton. Phil Bardsley has shrugged off a hamstring problem to replace the suspended Craig Gardner at right-back, while Lee Cattermole’s recovery from a knee problem forces a midfield reshuffle. Seb Larsson is moved from the centre to the right, with Adam Johnson shifting to the left, meaning James McClean drops to the bench for the second time in the last three Gameweeks.

Mignolet; Bardsley, Cuellar, O’Shea, Rose; Larsson, Cattermole, Colback, Johnson; Sessegnon, Fletcher.

    Corrigan says:

Thinking towards next season, I’ll have a structure something like:

    4.5 | 4.5
    3 x 4 | 4 | 4 at the back
    4.5 midfielder

and then fill in the rest accordingly…

Anyone think Larsson is a viable 5th mid for now until their DGW or is he too expensive for a 5th mid

      Intricacy says:

Sunderland don’t score goals. Their problems haven’t magically gone away due to knocking a few goals in against 10 man Fulham you know.

Was Larsson even involved at all anyway?

So no, no I don’t think he’s viable.

Some men think that using a moisturiser after you’ve had a shave is a bit gay – I don’t, I just think it makes my legs lovely and soft.

Those that have Cuellar on the pitch for this gameweek are either:

    a) Very weak in defence
    b) Casuals who forgot to change their team
    c) Geniuses

There’s a fine line between a genius and an idiot.

    Joga Bonito says:

The bonus system drives me mad sometimes but I suppose we would moan no matter what, like the days when David Luiz seemed to get 3 bp’s for being on the pitch. Suarez was by far, like usual the best player on the pitchfor little reward.

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”

Jan Vertonghen outlines what he feels is his best position for Andre Villas-Boas
