Most of our Suspension Tightrope protagonists were on their best behaviour last weekend. While Ashley Williams and Ramires fell foul of the referee’s wrath, both will now serve their respective one-match bans in the Capital One Cup – for a certain Spaniard on the other hand, there’s still time for that to change prior to next weekend.

Michu remains on four yellows and continues to pick up vast numbers of new suitors after notching another double against Norwich, though a caution in Wednesday’s Capital One Cup clash against Middlesbrough would earn him a one-match ban for the Swans’ trip to Tottenham next Sunday. Ashley Williams misses out in midweek for the Swans after picking up his fifth caution, while Chelsea’s Ramires will skip the Blues’ cup showdown with Leeds on December 19 for the same reason. Villa pair Ciaran Clark and Fabian Delph both balance precariously prior to tomorrow’s cup clash at Norwich.

Fulham’s home game with Newcastle this evening has a trio of players sitting on four yellows – Steve Sidwell for the hosts and Jonas Gutierrez and Cheick Tiote for Alan Pardew’s visitors. The Magpies also have a couple of players on three cautions apiece, Davide Santon and Mike Williamson.

Only one player moved onto the Suspension Tightrope last weekend, then – Everton’s Leon Osman shifted onto four yellows after picking up a booking in the 2-1 home win over Spurs yesterday, while former Toffee Wayne Rooney is now on three yellows, just two away from a one-match ban, after his caution in the Manchester derby.

Luis Suarez is available for Liverpool this weekend after serving a one-match suspension in yesterday’s win at West Ham, while Stoke welcome back Charlie Adam after the midfielder sat out their draw at Villa. Wigan pair Gary Caldwell and Maynor Figueroa also return to bolster the Latics’ backline for Saturday’s visit to Norwich.

Finally, John Obi Mikel is in the middle of a three-match ban received for foul and abusive post-match language and behaviour relating to Chelsea’s game with United back in October. With the Blues away on World Club Championship duty this coming weekend, Mikel will miss the Capital One Cup game against Leeds on December 19 in addition to the league game at home to Villa four days later.

Wow, I didn't realise Sess has dropped in price so much and Michu is now 7.9...
Erm.. what about Sess > Snodgrass then?

yeah was thinking of this but Long's minutes scare me. Either Fletch to Long OR Sess to Morrison/Lennon. Has to be one of those.

Afternoon all, sorry not been on for a couple of days, have we heard anything concrete on Enrique? If he is fit how does Cuellar > Caulker sound for my free transfer? Was thinking Enrique > GJ if not, although I see Bale might be fit now too.

Best defender for 5.1 or under? Thinking Sagna or Olsson - West Brom's fixtures are better, but their defence is leaking goals. Rest of my team is linked.

too many good mids will end up with me benching the wrong one. britton is bench fodder and is guaranteed 2 points.

    Alright lads...

    Current team is:

    Begovic Tremmel
    Rafael Gibbs Cuellar Nelsen Clyne
    Mata Bale Michu Fellaini Sterling
    RVP Suarez Berbatov

I'm thinking about making a couple of transfers after Chelsea's blank gameweek.

    Suarez + Berbatov -> Torres + Defoe

Idea is to cash in on the latter two's favourable fixtures before using Jan wildcard. Thoughts?

How is this Bale thing going to play out? Does AVB usually hold out and suddenly play "injured" players like SAF did with Evans last year, or will I find out about this before the Swansea game? I reaaaally want to see him fit.

First AVB says Bale could make the Everton game and if not Swansea. Then he says Bale's out until Stoke. Now he says Swansea again. Stop screwing with my plans you raspy voiced pilates lover.

      STOKE next 6 are

      EVE
      tot
      LIV
      SOT
      mci
      CHE

Is anyone really thinking of keeping their Begovic/Shawcross/whoever in their squad over that horrific run?

are you boys secret stoke supporters? City will knock 3 past them at Wastelands.... chelsea will surely break through, everton i would bet will, liverpool on their day....

i would bet 2 cleansheets max out of those 6..? Anyone disagree with serious conviction?

name two other teams you think will keep a minimum of two clean sheets in the next 6 who offer the same value as shawcross (predominantly acquired at 5.0) and bego (a ridiculous 4.5). just so not worth a transfer.

Anyone think Adebayor could be a decent option given spurs run. Better player than Defoe and minimal ownership?
