With Gameweek 25’s matches providing the qualifying round for the third Paddy Power Members Cup, we can now reveal who has made it through, together with the draw for the first round.
A high bar was set, with 66 points required for qualification: those with 65 points progressed depending on rank. The standard was strong enough to see the winner of our open Paddy Power Cup, Wild Rover, eliminated on 62 points. He’ll be waiting for the last eight in this year’s FFS Shield, however. World number four, The Game, also went out with 61 points.
The first round draw features an array of familiar names from the community with some standout on ties on offer. Milanista’s clash with the high-flying Evs and Bouncebackability’s meeting with RoysCallerAnne are just two of the match-ups that catch the eye. With former winners Fuzzy Dunlop and Kippax Kikkers both safely nestled in the first round, it’s a quality field, with competition likely to be fierce as the rounds tick by.
The first round ties will be played out over Gameweek 26 – starting this weekend and concluding with Liverpool’s clash with Swansea a week on Sunday. Good luck to all those involved.

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”Jan Vertonghen outlines what he feels is his best position for Andre Villas-Boas
