Versus – Daniel Sturridge & Luis Suarez

Filed under: Members - Posted by: Paul

With Liverpool facing a blank Gameweek this time round, sales of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are picking up pace. The Uruguayan has so far seen over 73,000 owners part company, while Sturridge has been moved on by 38,000+, despite a strong set of fixtures to follow. Indeed, with an upcoming schedule that pits Brendan Rodgers’ side against four of the current bottom six in their next six fixtures from Gameweek 28 onwards (wig, TOT, sou, avl, WHM, rea), we analyse the performances of the pair since Sturridge’s arrival from Chelsea last month:

  1. Who is more likely to keep a CS this weekend, Reading (WIG) or Norwich (EVE)

  2. My team:
    Szcz Bego
    Zaba Sagna Clyne Harte Demel
    Michu Mata Walcott Noble Fellaini
    Suarez Rooney Sturridge

    0,4 in the bank.

I can field 11 players this GW if Rooney stays fit, but I weasn't planning on keeping both of Sturridge and Suarez from now on. Who should go, and who should I replace them with?

    1. Sagna is out

    2. Looks like Rooney could be out too

    3. But to answer your question I'd stick with Suarez with the upcoming fixtures I see him terrorising some bad defences. If youre intent on playin 3 up front in the coming weeks why not try dzeko? Personally i'd downgrade to anichebe or pog and get bale in that midfield.

“Last year was quite open for me, I was in good positions, but I was quite lucky because I was getting free kicks and some penalties as well.”
