    still working on my dead league (no transfers allowed after this coming lock) squad..here's where I'm at..headaches!

    Boruc (Marshall)
    Rosenior, Distin, Ivanovic (Clyne, Burner)
    Hazard, Lallana, Walcott, Brady (Ravel)
    Rooney (c), Lukaku, Suarez

    thoughts on where to go? I need to get some City players in..ideally I would get Silva, but he's still out for nearly a month longer..I could free up some room in the defense to do Lukaku -> Aguero

    I have 0.2 available atm..unlimited transfers obviously..cheers folks

          Ah, gotcha.

          Thought this was a set it & forget it kinda deal.

          Well, why not grab Vorm as he rotates perfectly with Marshall & is a bit cheaper than Boruc. Not to mention that you'll avoid having to doubling up on SOU coverage.

          Sure that extra bit of cash could help somewhere...

            frees up 0.1, nice..plus Southampton's fixtures are a bit shitty for the next 2 months..

            still seeing if I can free up 3.6 to Lukaku -> Aguero..might drop Ivanovic and Brady or Lallana..

                considered that but I have a feeling that Ramsey will taper off and that Walcott will be ultra explosive for Arsenal with that midfield behind him (especially with Ozil)

                  So it just comes down to who'll score you more points:

                  Lukaku & Wallcott or Aguero & Ramsey?

                  I'm leaning towards the former myself.

            yep, would be a far simpler decision if he hadn't gotten injured..it's just a question of whether I think I can make up the points elsewhere for the next 3-5 matches to compensate for his absence/return to match fitness..at the moment I'm considering Walcott -> Ramsey just to bring Aguero, but even then I still have to come up with an extra 1.9 somewhere..

              It seems getting Aguero in will decimate your team elsewhere unless you ditch Rooney. Quite a conundrum.

        I always like throwing in a draw somewhere in the mix. It does wonders to an accumulator. I called 4 draws a couple of weeks ago. 40/1

      Let's assume you're 80% sure each of these picks are winners.

      So this parlay will payoff around 13% of the time; if you pick winners at an 80% clip that is...

      .8 * .8 * .8 * .8 * .8 * .8 * .8 * .8 * .8 = 13%

          Hmm, let me try...

          Even if you pick winners at an 80% rate, combining them in a parlay reduces your chances drastically.

          So combining nine of your 80% shots to all come in, reduces your chances of winning to 13%.

          What I'm driving at is parlays are a sucker bet...

          Even the best handicappers in the world pick only winners 55-60% of the time.

          So let's say for arguments sake you're the world's best handicapper & do pick winners 6 out of 10 times...

          This means that the parlay you're proposing will pay off only 1% of the time & the bookie is only laying you 90:1 on your money.

        I hated the stealth and fighting mechanics.. the whole game was flawed tbh.. i could not get past the first 4 hours without wantin to break my controller

          I dislike stealth but didnt hate it. I like the fighting tbh. Though there still have those glitches where the game suddenly got stuck or you can walk through a wall. Those are not resolved yet.

            i love stealth games.. Splinter cell/metro/dishonored/thief were among my favorite games of all time. The stealth in AC3 was so archaic..aaargh.. hated it.. think i'll skip AC 4 for now and wait for it to come free on PSN in a year 🙂

              Absinthe, thanks for replying. Don't have grander plans as of now. But I am closely monitoring Lukaku's performance. If I plan to get Benteke in then I will need to make 2 changes in order to have the funds. Lukaku to Remy is an easy transfer. But as of now my concern is my defense. Reither is banned. Wilson hardly plays 90 mins.

    I have a different perspective on the idea of picking a captain from the early kickoff game.

    For me this game starts around midnight NZ time and would probably be worth staying up for if my captain is playing. Not a bad reason to pick Suarez then and sleep through all the other games?

              Ive had RVP since the begging and i Got suarez when he was only 10.9 the first week he was available. Got aguero at around 11.2 which was still great value.

              Im keeping boruc, even if he doesnt get a cleanie hell get save points.

              Boruc>Mignolet and is far cheaper.
