Last week’s runaway winner of the Captain Poll, Luis Suarez delivered yet again with 25 points accrued over Liverpool’s pair of fixtures against Cardiff and Sunderland. The Uruguayan was usurped by Yaya Toure, though, with the City midfielder ending Gameweek 31 as the top scoring player on 31 points – surprisingly, in spite of his outstanding season, you have to go all the way back to Gameweek 17 to find the last time Suarez finished top-scoring player in any round of matches:

Once again, we analyse the armband options on offer in our weekly members article. Taking the top five in this week’s Captain Poll (Suarez, Wayne Rooney, Eden Hazard, Toure and Romelu Lukaku) as our starting point, we construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

    So, head says Nolan-hazard, but both players above me in ML have him already. So, do I gamble on Oscar instead or is that just stupid?

      i had him about 2 months and all he got me was a whole lot of 3 point returns. needless to say I got rid the week he decided to score twice, i would avoid tbh.

        Last time I made that choice I picked Boruc. 75 minutes gone with cs in the bag and then Southampton concede 2 goals. I lost my h2h as rival chose mannone and I left on the bench!

    Lots of away players this week. Midfield is now Yaya, Haz, Sterling, Sissoko, Thudd. Should I switch Sissoko to Adam and play him over Sterling. Mutch looks good but should I drop Sterling for Mutch now or wait till next week when Cardiff gave a better fixture?

    I have Paulinho (6.5) and Sterling (5.7) in my midfield.

    I'm 20 points behind in my league so I need every played to be able to play 90 + score points.

    Which of the two would you transfer out and for who?

    I'm thinking: Paulinho > Snodgrass
