Really cant understand why people are selling Mata, hes a proven fantasy asset. One blank game and he suddenly no good? Look at the fixtures. Then look at the rest of your team. There must be a higher priority transfer in there somewhere.
I scored 79 yet still have more needy transfers out than Mata.Open Controls-
Indeed. Jovetic needs the boot.
Open Controls -
what about my argument on the price rise/fall? It isn't that bad to get him back IF Mata performs and IF Fabregas flops.
Open Controls -
yep.. He got into good positions.. but crossing was below par... 🙁 .. but he can nly improve from here..
Open Controls -
You spelt 'promise' wrong on your web page thingy Trig.
Open Controls-
lol
Open Controls

You are missing the point.
People are getting two of Cesc, Sterling & Siggy.
You own two of those already.Open Controls-
This
Open Controls

I agree completely.
The team value arguments weigh far too much on me and may just sway me.
If you did not have Fabregas, would you be singing the same tune?Open Controls-
I doubt he would.

Thing is everbody wants to top the Ml and they think this way they can....all i know is tinkering only makes u more and more desprate
Open Controls -
Seems Mata may start becoming a bit of a differential. I'm happy with that.
Open Controls -
Mata managed just 1 shot and that was outside the box.
He looked ineffective in fairness.
Fabregas didn't have any shots on target tho apparently but is still a threat and just seems to love Football Fantasy. He was on free kicks too and possibly penalties. (that would def be the final straw)
I will probably keep but tempted to switch Mata out along with Jovetic.
Fabregas/ Bony or other 8m looks a good bit better than Mata/Jovetic ATM.
That been said it is ATM..
Got a bit of thinking to do!Open Controls -
as I don't any urgent priorities in the team this week, Mata -> Fab is the decision I'll have to make this week. It really could go either way - question of expected team value against points. And again, one should look a few weeks ahead - ask yourself what you think the difference will be between the two after GW8.
Open Controls-
unless you have money in the bank my guess is you'll have to make it by tonight to avoid the price rise

very happy with my start to the season - 85 points
Am i all good to save my transfer?
---------------Begovic---------------
----Cahill Chester Collocini----
Siggy Mata Ramsey Sterling
-----Dzeko Costa Rooney------
(Gilks; Davis, Van Aanholt, Moore)Open Controls-
Nice week!
Good to save the transfer. (As long as you can block out the Mata naysayers)Open Controls

A) hazard to sterling, bank 1.5 for next transfer
B) hazard to sterling, Lukaku to Diego, -4
C) stand pat and stay with plan to get Sterling after gw3Open Controls -
Right, own up, who got lucky with a huge haul off the bench due to Luis not starting?
Open Controls-
One of my ML rivals got Naughton off the bench... does that count?
Open Controls -
Me. I got Wisdom's 1 point. Feeling very guilty.
Open Controls -
If Cahill didn't play,Naughton would come in for me :shcok:
Open Controls-

My rival got Vlaar and I'm sure many more got Chester/Clyne
Open Controls-
But it's early days so I'm not too fussed 😀
Open Controls

Evs, who you replacing Jovetic with?
Open Controls-
Bony?
Open Controls -
I've planned for Bony all along but think him and Siggy could be overkill.
Ade plan B, but I'm loathed to change my mind.Open Controls-
Hmmm.... Bony/ Ade are meh. Think I'll opt for Sterling.

OR 42k.
OK, I'm quitting while I'm ahead.
Thanks for everything folks, it's been a blast!Open Controls-

Siggy 108.7%
Chester 86.2%
Cesc 85.2% - 13.9% today alone
Sterling 82.9%
Mata -40.8%
*Puts hands on knees...Open Controls-
* checks Hazard

Surely with the easier pricing, TV isn't *as* important as last few seasons.

spot Mata 😉Open Controls

Naughton appeal - when we are most likely to get a decision?
Open Controls -
Last Man Standing ended up with 1673 entries.
Bottom 5% or equal going out later today.
Looking at 41 or 42 being the safety score.Open Controls -
Fabregas was class last night, but that does not mean Hazard won't pick up points as well
Anyone considering both ?Open Controls-
Already have both
Open Controls

just did Erikson to Siggy, terry to Ivanovic
Was that totally knee jerk
Feeling like it was 😳Open Controls-
😯
Open Controls -
Terry to Ivanovic for a hit is absolutely ridiculous
Open Controls-
yeh i suppose so but trying to get siggy in before he price rises again. but yes possibly stupid

Just a bit.

Hazard v Fabregas
Ok, let's do this....
Hazard owners:
You selling for Cesc?Open Controls-
Cesc and Fab both had 0 shots today... 😯
Open Controls-
I actually thought Hazard was good. A lot better than in the WC.
And we all know he is a flat track bully...Open Controls
-
.if Costa had been awarded that penalty then this debate wouldnt even be happening
Open Controls-
I was just gonna say that was a penalty...
Open Controls -
-
-
I have neither, but if I had Hazard I would keep him. He has an annoying habit of making everything look so flashy, but he played well last night, would have had a peno had Costa's claim gone the other way.
Open Controls -
keeping him for now its wk1
Open Controls -
No interest in Fab, Sterling and Ramsey more interesting around that price point
Open Controls -
If I owned hazard I'd wait a week. If haz can't get a good score against either burnley or Leicester then it's time to move on to Fabregas.
As I own neither currently it would be Fabregas on my shopping list. He looks to be consistent which I like over Hazard's occasional big hauls.
Silva has Fab's place in my midfield and I'm not switching for a while.
So many good midfielders - so few places.Open Controls -
Nope!
Open Controls -
Not yet, be silly IMO. Hazard played well last night and he will get his points. And he's on Pens, Free Kicks etc
If after week 3 Haz is being rotated or outscored by Fab then i'd make the swap, still only week 1
I'm more interested in whether to get Schurrle as wellOpen Controls-
Fab is on free kicks and corners mate going by last night
Open Controls
-
-
Really struggling with that conundrum myself. On the one hand, I still believe Hazard will outscore Fabregas this year, always had the gut the feeling he would be this year's FPL star. On the other hand, that 1.0 diff could allow me to eventually upgrade Eriksen to Sterling or Phil Jones to a Chelsea defender. In addition, my early strategy was about value building and Cesc's value should be soaring whilst there's a slight chance Haz might drop.
Edging towards the swap right now.Open Controls

Please help.
Arsenal back 4 with Gibbs out, Metersacker in:
Debuchy Mertesacker Kosiceny Monreal Chambers.
Basically, who will play full back on a regular basis?Open Controls-
The first 4
Open Controls
-
-
What a great start it would have been if I just didnt bench Siggy and Chester. But not the first or last time that happens.
Open Controls -
cant believe I already took a -4 point hit.. I promised myself that I wouldnt do it as much this year
Dzeko > Costa
Cameron > Hutton (To free up the 0.5 that I needed)
was planning on Dzeko > Lukaku in about 2 weeks, thats why I had the extra £ in the bank, but I'm sure that Costa's price will go up AT LEAST 0.2 / 0.3 by thenOpen Controls-
looks ok
Open Controls

slightly freaked out that the first time I'd ever used the RMT app returned a score of 54 for GW1.
My score? 54.
Although it got my bench horribly wrong...Open Controls-

Everyone's gonna scramble to get Cesc but based on watching last night, I actually think the Chelsea midfielders are gonna share points more. It seems they will share set-pieces (not sure about pens yet). Fabregas looks good to supply assists from deep and from set-pieces but the more advanced mids will offer more goal-threat.
I think it's too early to draw conclusions and I don't think what we saw last night means Fabregas is the best value in the Chelsea midfield.Open Controls-
-
He won't be rotated though, which i think is the key. Hazard is a perm fixture in most games but the other two spots will be shared around a bit more. I agree that I don't think he'll score as many in that deep role, but on the flip side he's playing in a very sim position to Ya Ya and when Jose brings on another midfielder to close the game out he moves up into the hole for the last 15 minutes.
Plus he is an assist magnet. For me he's a must whichever way you look at it. One of those players which you just stick in your team at the start and barring injuries you never have to worry about him.Open Controls
-
-
But didn't you know that if Fabregas scores 11pts GW1 he's guaranteed equal or GREATER returns GW2?
BUY BUY BUY!Open Controls -
My fear is Mourinho loves shutting up shop so only 2-3 goals/assists between all the Chelsea players. Unlike City who just keep steam rolling till the end
Open Controls-
You may be right. There are more genuine options now too so it could be that Costa is sufficient Chelsea attack and our midfield spots can go to Sterling, Ramsy/Wally/Sanchez/Mata etc.
Open Controls

Costa .. Leicester (H)
Open Controls -
Hazard(c)
😎Open Controls -
It's gonna be between Costa and Hazard I think. Costa based on last night, but I'm not 100% about either. Shame Ramsey's got a less favourable fixture or I'd go with him. Rooney may well be the best option though :-S
Open Controls -
Hazard 😉
Open Controls

-
Cech, Ramires & Luis will start in GW2
Open Controls-
Lol..
Maybe the brazilians. Not CechOpen Controls
-
Krul, Foster
Terry, Jones, Caulker, Collocini, Moore
Hazard, Mata, Ramsey, Sigurdsson, Marney
Rooney, Costa, Austin
Any transfer suggestions?

taken a hit to go mata/cout to fab/sterling before the price hike. call me a points chaser if you want but I think the four points will be gained back and the extra money will serve me better in the long run
I have jovetic whom I know will need to be shifted next week unless he has a stormer. what's the consensus here for a replacement? 2 players who in think looked sharp are remy and bafe gomis when he came onOpen Controls -
Sterling and Ince in for Mata and Snodgrass?
Worth 4 points?Open Controls-
Better to get a cheap Southampton mid than Ince

Mata>Schurrle & Albrighton >Siggy -4?
