I do believe he is fairly essential but think I can do without selection and hamstring headaches.
If teams get stuck into him like city did then he might struggle. And definitely looks a red card candidate. Obviously I appreciate he could explode but just looking at the flip side-

I don't think bringing Shaw in is CRAZY. He's surely a punt, and a risky one at that, but if you like that kind of thing it could pay off. He'll certainly play if fit and Man U will turn it at some point. They have to (though I hope they don't. It's quite fun to watch).
That said I'd stick with Moreno since he's in 100% nailed and has some attacking returns to his name. Fixtures are better than Man U and you're not banking on Shaw living up to his chance to impress. Now if you could go Caulker to Shaw I'd say go for it, but I doubt that.-

Shaw might look good or whatever but the fact is United's defence is a car crash. He needs a whole defence to be at it to get the returns. His attacking returns won't be fantastic enough to compensate. He's no Baines or Ivan.

United defence is awful, but so is Liverpool, maybe not as bad, but unlikely to be putting strings of clean together anytime soon, so either Moreno or shaw would be there for attacking potential.

But defenders first port of call for points should be their CS potential - a much more reliable source of points. Attacking returns are not a defender's priority.

Liverpool have looked utterly lost on D so far but they haven't really had that great of fixtures. List coming up is promising + attacking returns = keep Moreno

Maybe, but in recent years you see full backs, wing backs so high up the pitch you have to consider the attacking threat from a FPL view, ivanovic average position against Man City was on the half way line, Moreno against West Ham was another example.
I have Clyne, and PVA in my team with this more in mind that saints, and Sunderland clean sheets, no offence 🙂
