- The Top 10k Template
I was interested in how the template has evolved over previous game weeks, so I decided to take a look at it this week.
According to top 10k stats, the template team based on ownership is:
Foster (15.4%)
Chambers (60.8%) Baines (46.1%) Taylor (29.4%)
Sigurdsson (83.5%) Sánchez (81.2%) Fábregas (64.4%) Hazard (42.3%)
Agüero (84.7%) Austin (42.4%) Bony (27.1%)
This is obviously a little different to how next weeks will be, as it is based on starting players. For example, Costa has been benched by most, so he isn't included in the template XI. Southampton defenders are also highly owned, but have been benched by many.
Essentially, the players you don't have in this XI you want and need to score poorly, otherwise you could be in trouble.

Not necessarily a bad thing, it's always good to have differentials. I'm sure if I added in subs you would have a lot more.
I'm guessing only Clyne and Costa

I'm so damn template it's scary. Swap Foster & Taylor for Guzan & Terry and that's my team. I guess captaining Hazard is what will determine a green or red arrow tonight.

Some players will arise but it seems to take the place of players previous in the template.
Sterling and Sánchez are an example, the former became unpopular as the latter hit form. Di Maria's wavering returns and injury means Hazard is now popular.
I think we'll have a template for most of the season, and the real game will be how you change your team to account for it.

I only have 5 out of those 11. It's been good to see Siggy and Austin go quiet this week, now just need to see Baines and Sanchez go quietly now. Although at home vs Hull it's very unlikely Baines wont score well.

I've got Heaton instead of Foster, Clyne/Yun instead of Naylor, Downing instead of Cesc, and Welbeck for Austin. There's a lot of group think going on in the top 10k since a lot seemed to have done the same Bony move as me last week. Hopefully a differential Benteke will fire me up.

There should really be two top 10k template teams, one in 3-4-3 formation (41.2%) and the other in 3-5-2 formation (25.4%).
The 3-4-3 template team would be as quoted by Rodallegabomb above, with Krul (27.6%), Duff(21.0%), Wisdom (19.3%) and an unknown midfielder on the bench - I suspect that this might well be Boyd.
The 3-5-2 template team would include Downing (30.8%) instead of Bony, and would have Diego Costa (43.0%) on the bench instead of the midfielder.Actually, the template forward line hasn't changed, it's still Aguero, Austin and Costa.
It's just that the Costa owners in the top 10k (who still outnumber the Bony owners) benched him and played a 3-5-2 formation for one game-week only.
I have all but Foster, Chambers, Naylor & Fab. Though I have Wisdom in place for Foster, Fabi in place for Naylor & Oscar in place for Fab.
This is worrying in my case because I'm sitting at a measly 100k rank ðŸ™

yes and no. plan a transfer now to work for 6 weeks (as in you need to make sure today's transfer will still be a good transfer in 3, 4, 5 weeks); but don't plan transfers that far out.

Hey greenwindmill, what do you make of Newcastle's chances against Chelsea on the weekend? I'm debating whether to keep Cisse or not.
Well he's all set for another 90 minutes I think - definitely still the number one striker and if we score he's the most likely at the moment. In recent year's we've given Chelsea some shocks but I'm not convinced this year if I'm honest (although I do tend towards pessimism when it comes to our chances) Having said that, Sissoko and Colback available again will help.

Question re Ultimate FPL. Stick on Bony (c) 12 points or twist to Aguero and lose 6 of those? Some context am 13th in the overall ranking after yesterday and scored 49 points, will lose 5 of those to bring in Lloris and Terry for DDG and Caulker. Leaving me on 44 with Lloris, Terry, Fabregas, Wellbeck and Aguero to play. Further 6 points could go with Bony.
Other options would be obv to capt Fab or Wellbeck and could sub in DiMichellis for Caulker instead of Terry
Have bench options of Clyne, Lamela and Chadli but none of them will come on.
