The Scout Picks Community Champion Vote – Gameweek 26

Welcome to this week’s Scout Picks Community Champion vote. Here’s a reminder of how this works. As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 26’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 26 Scout Picks. Foreveryone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of budget, which has now been increased to 84m. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote open until 10am tomorrow (Wednesday) when I will announce the winner. The winner will then be asked to submit their final picks to me taking into account latest injury news by 5pm Thursday.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk rather than leave a comment below.

    Lloris

    Terry PVA Coleman

    Eriksen hazard Siggy Gil

    Costa Kane Aguero

Lloris - Good gk, West Ham are struggling to score. Spurs are ok at the back.

Terry - Burnley are bad at defending set pieces
PVA - attacking wingback, west brom can struggle to score
Coleman - Playing leicester at home, always has a chance to score attacking returns

Eriksen - West Ham are going through a bad period, I don't see it changing
    Hazard - Burnley are porous
Siggy - He did well against man united in the first game. It's a punt but there is always a threat from him
Gil - Sherwood's more attacking and Gil looks creative

Costa, Kane, Aguero - all have chances of 2 goals or more in my opinion according to fixtures.

    Team value 83.9

I have no idea how to vote because I have never really paid much attention to this before, but if all you have to do is post here, then have my vote.
Can't vote for any team without Goalman this GW and love the other differentials.

Good afternoon everyone. These are my picks for this week:

    Panti

    Terry Bruce Bellerin

    Hazard Ozil Eriksen Walters

    Kane Kun Costa

    Total: 83.7

Here is an explanation of some of the picks:

-Panti: Plays at home against a Pulis side that will come to defend so good CS potential. Save points also likely.

    - I tripled up on Chelsea which is a no brainer as they face the leaky Burnley defense. Costa will be raring to score again after coming back from suspension and the return of Cesc will help the attacking play. Chelsea solid at home so Terry is expected to deliver a CS plus the potential odd goal.
    - Bruce is a cheap option in an improving Hull who will play and Austin-less and now Fer-less QPR.
    - Bellerin is a cheap option into Arsenal's backline which has improved a lot lately. Ozil has the form on his side and is dominating set-pieces now.
    - Kun and Kane both have hoe fixtures. Kun scored 2 in the last game and City will want to prepare for Barca's visit with a big performance so expect goals. As for Kane, there is no stopping him at the moment. Add to that that it is a london derby and he is a man of the big ocassion.

    panti
    ivanovic bellerin terry
    hazard ozil mane siggy
    aguero kane giroud

3 chelsea essential. costa too expensive. think terry and giroud will outscore costa and a cheapie.
siggy fresh against a dodgy utd back 4
mane vs pool is a bit of a punt but mane has looked dangerous and mignolet etc are always susceptible to a goal or two

    McGregor
    Bellerin - Ivan - Clichy
    Hazard - Ozil - Oscar - Moses
    Lukaku - Kane - Aguero
    84 on the dot.

    Goalkeeper/Defence:
McGregor - In decent form, very good home fixture vs QPR. Fully expect a CS. Differential keeper very capable of pulling off some good saves. Alternative was Panti. However, I expect WBA to score given current form of strikers.
Bellerin - Good form/decent fixture. Likely CS however if not, good cahnce of attacking returns.
Ivan - Chelsea defence a must-have this GW. Added bonus is Ivan's attacking ability.
Clichy - Rested last week so almost definitely will start this week. Attacking/BAP potential as well as defending against a poor Newcastle side.

    Midfield:
Hazard - Expect him to run rings around Trippier all day. Pens and has recently just signed a contract. Point to prove, "due" at home.
Ozil - Excellent form. Difficult not to inlcude him with the match vs CPL. Hungry player vs a jaded Jedinak.
Oscar - His kind of fixture. I expect him to be involved in the goals. Very consistent over the season.
Moses - Stoke punt vs a Villa squad learning new tactics. Unlukcy not to be in good FPL form as he has been doing well for Stoke lately.

    Forwards:
Lukaku - Arguably a punt given his lack of consistency. However, a fixture vs a tired Leicester squad is a great chance for him to get on the scoresheet.
Aguero - The man needs no introduction. Impossible to not pick in a plum fixture vs Newcastle
Kane - Finally, Kane. In incredible form presently. A match vs a depleted/probably demoralized West Ham squad is a great chance for Kane to get another haul. Sorry Doos but I see a West Ham mauling 😉

    Appreciate any of your votes!

    Lloris

    Terry PVA Coleman

    Eriksen hazard Siggy Gil

    Costa Kane Aguero

Howard - Everton keeping cleanies, whilst not threatening at the the other end atm

Ivanovic - Attcking returned are back again
Danny Rose - West Ham lost goal threat, Rose likes to bomb on
Jones - Swansea look toothless atm and United aren't conceding many

Dembele - Spurs outstanding midfield performer atm
    Hazard - Burnley are porous
Ozil - Bang in form and Palace don't do clean sheets any more
Milner - Underrated and looked a threat behind Aguero against Stoke

Costa, Kane, Aguero - Kane has relished London derbies, Aguero back in form, Costa chomping at the bit after 3 games out

    Lloris(5.6)
    Ivanovic(7.3) - Terry(6.8) - Stones (5.2)
    Walcott (8.9) - Eriksen (8.5) - Hazard(10.9) - Lennon (6.2)
    Aguero(12.8) - Kane(6.3) - N'Doye (5.5)

    Total 84.0

My picks are built around 4 fixtures, with Chelsea’s clash with Burnley, Everton’s Goodison meeting with Leicester, Man City's home tie against Newcastle as well as Spurs White Hart Kane clash with Hammers.

I’ve recruited 9 players from those four matches.

Sergio Aguero should be able to get some good points against the Magpies.

From Chelsea, I’ve doubled in defence with John Terry and Branislav Ivanović coming up against a burnley attack with the only threat of Danny Ings. They have also conceded a lot of headed goals. In each of the last 3 fixtures between Burnley and Chelsea, A Chelsea defender has scored (Cole,Terry,Ivanovic). Hazard is my last player from Chelsea to complete the trio.

Elsewhere, I've added Here I am Rock you like a "HurriKane" and the timely explosion of Christian Eriksen. Eriksen is too good a player to blank 3 consecutive weeks. I also expected a Cleansheet for Lloris

I expect a good show from Everton against Leicester. Aaron Lennon is a punt, He's not allowed to play in Europa so I expect him to start against foxes and bring good points, I also expect cleansheet for everton and bonus points persuade me to select Stones

The final two spots in my team goes to Theo Walcott and N'Doye

Please be kind to show faith by voting. Highly appreciate it fellas ^_^

    begovic
    ivanovic, PVA, rose
    hazard, ozil, nasri, mirallas
    kun, kane, n'doye

    80.8

begovic - against aston villa sides who only scored 2 goals in the last 10 games.
ivanovic - 1 goal, 3 assists in the last 6 games. just scored against PSG
PVA - attacking fullback plays at home.
    rose - another attacking fullback

hazard - a must for this gw against burnley
ozil - in a good form
nasri & mirallas - differential midfield for this gw, good fixtures against newcastle and leicester. with baines doubtful to play, mirallas is likely to take set pieces

kun - another must have for this gw, most people will either captain him or hazard
kane - unstoppable at the moment
n'doye - great performance last gw, hull will be looking at him to provide attacking returns

    TEAM:
    Forster- 5.6m(LIV H)
    Clyne- 6.0m(LIV H), Terry- 6.8m(BUR H), Coleman- 6.8m(LEI H)
    Ozi- 9.1m(CRY A), Hazard- 10.4m(BUR H), Eriksen- 8.3m(WHU H), Sigurdsson- 6.4m(MUN A)
    Costa- 10.9m(BUR H) Capt, Kane- 6.1m(WHU H), Berahino- 5.6m(SUN A)

Reasons: Forster has two CL in the last two games, they also only face one team in the top 6 (Chelsea) in there next 6 bpl games.
Clyne has been a great presence for s'oton this year and for me will continue to and with no Bertrand this weekend he will have to step up to the plate.
Terry has scored 3 goals this year and two of them from set pieces, and with Burnley only scoring 7 goals in there last 6 games they don't look like troubling the leaders.
Coleman has been finding his best form lately helping Everton keep 3 CL in the last 6 games and with only two goals this season he'll be dying to get on the score sheet and i think he'll be big trouble for the Leicster defenders this weekend with his pace.
Ozil has been involved with 7 goal in the last 4 games since his return, scoring three and assisting 4, and with Crystal Palace only keeping 1 CL in there last 6 games i expect ozil to have a busy game this weekend.
Hazard was very good during mid-week in Paris and will be a massive presence for chelsea this weekend, expect him to win a lot of free kicks and maybe a penalty or two.
Eriksen has been the glue that has kept Spurs where they are today (Hurts me to say that) with 9 goals and three assists this season expect him to have a say on this match.
Siggurdson was the MOTM in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford and as he hasn't played in the last three games he will be raring to go and add to his 4 goals and 9 assists.
Costa has missed three matches since his ban and with 17 goals this season he has been the striker of the season for me and with Burnley conceding 11 in the last 6 games don't be surprised to see costa collect one, two or even three goals this weekend this is why i have captained him this weekend aswell.
Kane, Harry Kane has been one of the stand out players of the season with the most goals by any premier league player in all competitons and has scored 5 goals in his last 3 games and i expect him to add to his 13 league goals and 9 assists as West ham as i've said are struggling at moment.
Berahino is my last player i've picked and is WBA's best player this season and with 10 league goals and Sunderland 6 in the last 6 games.
