LVG is a curious one. What's the cutoff place for him to retain his job? 4th? 5th? Or even 6th?

Dont think 5th-6th would be enough. Something around 10th which looks unlikely since teams around that rank aren't performing well

If there ever was a team whose fans are deluded it was Liverpool, and now it's Manu. I'm not even gonna bother explaining myself. Check out his track record and stop citing the only place he didn't win everything in (even then he won the league in one out of his two years there).

Oh, in addition to that, since when were Manu fans against expensive squads? Manu's team is £20m short of doubling the cost of Chelsea's, and £50m short of doubling City's. But carry on...

Sorry, it was double Arsenal's and £60m more than anyone else's in the league. And that's excluding both Falcao's loan fee and the agreement to buy him at the end of the season, both of which adds up to another £50m. Not as if it makes much of a difference to the current numbers, but still.

Or maybe we should refer back to the point about how Manu fans should never be spotted complaining about others' expensive teams? Or have we established that now?

To answer your question, based on your posting history, you refer to the sales of Mata, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Luiz etc. as "dirty business". I don't think you warrant much credibility in that respect. Plus, we have made more from sales + winning titles than we have spent in the past 5-6 years. What financing were you referring to?

I wasn't complaining about other team's squads. That's the problem these days. Reading is hard for people. All I did was state the fact that with the most expensive squad in the history of earth Mourinho failed to do what he was hired to do and thus got the sack.

And if you think that's the extent of your dirty business, well, I can't say I'm surprised.

    Hey folks

Moved to a new country so FPL has taken a back seat, but keen to get back in it!

I have 2 FT and 0.7 itb, and NO idea what to do. Any thoughts?

    Lloris - Krul
    Zouma - Naughton - Bellerin - Wollscheid - Dawson
    Hazard - Ozil - Silva - Sterling - Cork
    Sturridge - Aguero - Kane

Only thoughts so far are that if Sterling plays WB again, I think I'll shift to Coutinho, and that Kun might be on the chopping block soon.

    Hit me!

Losing Austin now for Giroud... A good move or chasing points? Arsenal are away to Newcastle after a midweek CL game. Austin is at home against an Everton that will have played on a Thursday night before the Sunday game.

I will have Giroud come GW 34 anyway but for this GW,

    A) Walters and Cazorla -> Ameobi(enabler) and Silva

    or

    B) Sanchez and Austin -> Silva and Giroud

    Help appreciated 🙂

wondering the same, giroud has the impending blank thats what put me off him even this week..

Austin needs to go though, QPR are awful and the next 2 after this are tough as well

      I have to decide between
      1. Giroud + Alderweireld
      2. Sakho + Ivanovic

West ham have some great fix coming.. the problem with getting giroud is

      1. the blank
      2. liverpool best away defensive record of late
      3. burnley are tightening up at home, not conceding many chances
      4. everyone above me has him, wont really catch up

Giroud is still a great differential. I don't think his ownership in the top 10k is that high either. I'd say much smaller than Austin's. He is the form player to use to climb in rank imo. If you are talking ML rivals, that is another story.

Already haze Eriksen. Santi and bellerin from Arsenal so if I want Giroud that is 3 players. I will get rid of Santi. I don't want 3 Arsenal players come the blank. So one of Caz and Sanchez goes now and the Bellerin goes by GW 33.

City have been up and down all season. Didn't stop these Silva hauls from coming in. He usually delivers one game then blanks the next one.

Do we have a date when announcements will be made for Arsenal and Liverpool DGWs?
People have started transferring in Arsenal players but we are not sure of the date even.
    Did I miss something?

all the info this community give me is special. However, I never seem to get a definitive answer to the question you ask. All i know is Liverpool cannot be advertised until after their replay. I can never understand these delays as the fans suffer. I can only think they hang on based on Euro matches in terms of rest.

Wait 10 days, eagerly counting down the hours till the next GW, check your rivals team, think of a sneaky trade to get a few points in front (Puncheon), wake up early Saturday morning, excited about what is to come and which fantasy players will do well!

Then a gameweek like this comes and you wonder why you even bother!

His tactics are good and works, infact any tactic is good if it results in win, whether it be an attacking set-up or defensive. I did expected him to do better though.
Just dont like that he use players out of position. He has decent players for almost every attacking position but installing Rooney in midfield, Mata on bench etc doesnt make sense imo...

Oh well, in all probability out of 3 cups in one day (LMS, PP and Members).

I guess that's the way it goes but I wouldn't have changed anything going into the GW so can't get too downhearted.

Gru to Austin last week was the right move and removing Baird was the priority this week.

Foster injury was a unlucky and hindsight is a wonderful thing with Kun(c), but I would probably do it again

No knee jerk transfers, team looked good prior to GW 29 and that hasn't changed

    Foster/Myhill
    Terry,Bertie,Clyne,Wolly,PVA
    Haz,Caz,Sanchez,Erik,Boydiho

Watching MOTD Bacuna played well, Hutton and his owners could be in trouble.

P.S. Ashamed to be a PVA owner.

No point loooking at that match. Don't think Villa can repeat that performance. Should have been 5-0 up at half time.

Looking at Pva's performance, guess he is getting dropped now

Please pick one... who would be your punt of these players for the next few gameweeks?

    A. Oscar - great fixtures, no Europe, DGW 34, playing nro.10...
    B. Siggy - great fixtures, on pens and free kicks
    C. Sterling - bad fixtures short term, playing position unclear
    D. Coutinho - bad fixtures short term, form ok
    E. Ramsey - played very well yesterday, fixtures ok but not the easiest ones short term, blank gw 33
    D. Cazorla - will he be getting minutes...? if so, on pens and some set pieces, form ok
    F. Özil - nailed on, on free kicks and corners, form ok

    Thanks!

Toughie. Sigurdsson, Coutinho or Ozil. I would go for Sigurdsson

I was considering Downing in my team for the next 3 games but couldn't watch the game last night. How did he play?
