FFS UEFA Champions League Tournament 2015/2016 – Qualifying Round 1

Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Fantasy Football Scout UEFA Champions League 2015/2016. I am pleased to say that there was an extraordinary amount of interest shown amongst the community for this tournament and 128 players were selected to enter the Qualifying Rounds.

As you may remember from my previous article, the qualifying rounds will be head-to-head based and will take place on Gameweeka 2 and 4. These will be single elimination, meaning those teams who are successful in Gameweek 2 will advance to the second qualifying round due to take place in Gameweek 4. After Gameweek 4, 32 successful teams will proceed to the group stages.

Due to the sheer number of players, there are two qualifying ‘Pods’, A and B, each consisting of 64 players. The winners of each Pod will advance to the second round of qualifying where they will be paired against each other in another head-to-head fixture. In the event of a tie, the team with the highest goals scored will go through.

Without further ado, here are the fixtures for the first round of qualifying.

    I'm going to work on a Google doc where users can see their opponent's team.

      If users don't know how to see an opponents team then more fool them. It's not difficult to "find an opponent" I say keep as it is 😀

    I have Fabianski and may do Kosc -> Williams to fund Rooney -> Aguero. My other keeper is Kasper if that makes any difference
