The ScoutCast – Episode 171 – Flagging

Just ten days after celebrating three-figure tallies, many Fantasy managers are now left counting the flags as the international break casualties mount.

Sergio Aguero leads the army of crocks. The City striker’s twanging hamstring has taken the shine off his incredible 25-point haul and it’s his demise from hero to zero that dominates the chatter in this latest ScoutCast episode.

With Granville struck down by sniffles, Luke aka “D1sable” steps into the breach to join Jonty and myself to take up the challenge of weighing up the Aguero stand-ins.

We also take time to assess two contrasting managerial appointments, greeting Jurgen Klopp’s thrilling heavy metal football, whilst mustering a nod to Big Sam’s bid to produce a Black Cats escape routine.

This latest episode was first broadcast live via our YouTube channel on Wednesday evening. You can view the full broadcast via the larger player below (much as we love Luke, we do eventually shift the camera from him).

For the edited and slightly more refined audio experience, you’ll need this link or the stream available via small player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Divock Origi could benefit from Danny Ings' ACL injury, with Jurgen Klopp putting his faith in the young Belgian. http://www.thisisanfield.com/2015/10/jurgen-klopp-turns-to-divock-origi-after-danny-ings-injury-blow/

    I used my FT on Aguero > Pelle, my other strikers are Berahino and Diouf

    Diouf is out which is a given so was planning on going 3-5-2 but now Berahino is 50/50 apparently.

    Should i do a hit to get rid of Diouf and bring in Lukaku incase Berahino doesnt play? Otherwise a defender will come in and both Cresswell and Nyom are flagged lol

      VArdy would be the most viable option.

    Already taken a 4 point hit on Aguero/Silva --> Pelle/KdB

    Have Coutinho, on yellow. Considering replacing him with Mane, but would of course require another 4 point hit.

    Stick or twist?

      Stick, but i really dislike Coutinho. Also, Mane might not get 90 minutes. Never got 90minutes after International Break with Koeman

    My worst-case scenario is that Kolarov, Cresswell, Nyom, Kompany, Bellerin, Mahrez and Sanchez, don't play. My best-case is they all do. I literally don't know what to do with that! And from reading all your comments, that probably puts me in a better position than a lot of you guys. It's been a tough week for us all.

    Should I make Cabaye the captain instead of KDB since Aguero, Yaya Toure & Silva are injured (They are against BOU though)? Answer ASAP since GW9 will start in 24 hours!
