FFScout Grand Play Offs Round Two – Gameweek 1 Results

Welcome back to the Grand Playoffs and congratulations if you’re one of the 128 managers who have made through to Round Two. This week was relatively low scoring as we limped along to an average of 46, just one point higher than the fpl average as a whole. Only eight people breached 60 points and congratulations to Annie, who only got through Round One on a tiebreaker, as she became the highest scorer this week on 69.

Her team was led by a front line of Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy as captain and Romelu Lukaku,  which scored more points combined than some managers got for the Gameweek as a whole. Seeing Annie’s score, Colonel Wasabi can feel hard done by as he contributed 57 points to the highest scoring tie of the round and would have won against most other opponents.

At the other end of the scale I feel extremely lucky to have come out on top in the lowest scoring tie of the round as I beat Blue Lion 37 – 31.

Continuing our Mod watch, Roscola edged out BabyB 49 – 48, but Spencer was not so lucky facing a strong opponent in dmhomag as he lost 50-57. Meanwhile, Doolittle came out on top as he beat Beavis 55 – 33.
