Fresh from a confidence-boosting draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Manchester City invite West Bromwich Albion to the Etihad Stadium. The Sky Blues tasted defeat in three of their last four home ties, while the Baggies are unbeaten in three road clashes.

Courtesy of two 4-0 wins, Manchester ranked joint-third for goals (eight), second for attempts (78) and top for shots inside the box (53) across their last four matches. Offering further incentive to invest in the Sky Blues’ attack, they’ve amassed nine more goals (39) than any team in home encounters. Conversely, Manuel Pellegrini’s squad have struggled to batten down the hatches on familiar soil, surrendering the tenth-most big chances (24) while managing just five clean sheets.

Underlining their paucity of attacking threat, West Brom ranked joint-bottom for attempts (33), bottom for shots inside the box (17), joint-bottom for big chances (two) and bottom for shots on target (five) across their previous four fixtures. With regards to their defensive prospects, only four teams have conceded fewer goals in away ties than the Baggies (16), which suggests that the hosts are unlikely to deliver a thrashing.

        2 frees.

This will fund Sanchez this week. Lovely.

What is the best number of doubles for gameweek 34, I'm thinking 11 and triple c due to the fact that 35 is missing a number of key teams.

leaving 37 as the week to go all in 15 and bench boost.

There is no best. Check the quality first. This GW so far shows you what can happen.

I've got provisional squads with 3-6 transfers required to fund them, defo awaiting Everton, City and Liverpool midweek games first before commiting to anything.

So my FT options for this week are:

    a) Robles to De Gea
    b) Barkley to Firmino
    c) Wickham to Martial

I think C is pretty certainly the one to do... but gonna have to wait and see with Ross and Everton being sucky.

Why in gods name did we captain Lukaku again?

Oh right. Because he has two games.

Not because of form or even fixtures really. Kk

      Tell me about it.

I avoid lukaku at all other times. Can't stand him, always burns me and so it was again today. Lured by the double and forgetting he's not that great.

Just saw the Swansea highlights and Sigurdsson played extremely well.

Should have had an assist (Montero missed an open net) and another goal easily.

    7.9% ownership, 7.2M
9 goals and 2 assists in 14 games
Newcastle (A) is a good fixture but after that his fixtures get difficult. I think the ship might be close to sailing.

I'm panicking tho I still think I have a fairly strong team.
    Foster, Robles
    Smalling, Bellerin, Gabriel, Sakho, Ward
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Bolasie, Mahrez, Payet
    Kun, Martial, Lukaku
    0.7 itb
    (1) Gabriel, Bolasie to Otamendi, Iwobi
    (2) Bolasie to Milner
    (3) just Gabriel to 5.0 or less DF (who?)
