Fixture Ticker Preview Video

With attentions turning towards the start of the Premier League campaign, we’ve published a new video previewing our Fixture Ticker tool.

The Fixture Ticker is long established as a key component on the site and has evolved into a vital tool for all our visitors, not least our Members, who enjoy a host of features to aid fixture analysis and selection strategies.

This video acts as both an introduction to the Fixture Ticker, highlighting how it’s launched and how the free version can be used, plus a guide for those with access to the Members version. It can be viewed as a whole or you can jump to the chapters that may interest you.

Those familiar with the Fixture Ticker should certainly note the chapter on rotation, which demonstrates how the Members ticker can be used to analyse potential pairings – a new feature for this season. You can see that element of the Ticker explained in full here.

This really is a powerful addition. By selecting any team and hitting “sort by rotation”, the ticker now ranks those teams most appropriate for rotation with the highlighted team over the Gameweek range you choose to display. You can apply this using both the attacking and defence filters to analyse rotation pairings in attack and defence. View this chapter to see this explained in full.

Here’s a rundown and links to all the chapters included:

              I wasn't joking.

Origi better suits Klopp's system, and Sturridge was benched for Origi numerous times.

Sturridge is too soft and too lazy to play a full press.

The last point isn't true. Liverpool's 2nd most effective presser since January, after Firmino.

Sturridge made one tackle in the whole of last season?

I'd say Lallana is your best presser anyway.

I fancy both Wales + Belgium more than Poland / Portugal, so this is essentially a semi final in my eyes.. It'd be great to see Wales get to a final!

Just see quite a strong bias towards Belgium in the RMTs on here (although that's not the greatest measure), might be to do with their players having more points on the board or a "higher ceiling" supposedly..

With FPL hopefully re-opening in a few weeks, and a question on cash leagues next year, I thought this a good time to post the first topic about the cash leagues I will be running this year. Last year, I ran a very successful £5 entry tournament which people seemed to enjoy, so I am looking to expand on this for the coming season.

This year, there will be a minimum of two leagues running, both run seperately, and with different FFS members in each. At the moment, there will definitely be a £5 and a £10 entry league, so have a think about how much you want to gamble. I'm also open to the idea of running a third league, with £20 entry too if theres enough interest.

Looking for around 40 teams in each of the leagues. Same as last year, 50% of pot to winner, 30% to second and 20% to third place.

If anyone wants to be put down on a provisional list for either my £5 or £10 entry league, please email me @ fantasyfootballaz7@gmail.com. I just need your FFS name and which tournament you would want to be involved in. If you would be interested in the £20 buy in league, please also mention this to me either on this post or in an email so I can see whether its worth setting one up.

I can put together a decent 15 in the next round with no hits.... I have my WC and could put together a better 15 with it ..but...I'm wondering should I wait play my decent 15 which has a good spread across most teams bar Iceland... Then create a new team next round??

Do you have a player to cover Rami on your bench?

If you don't, then the hit is only 2 points anyway so you may as well go B.. but a hit isn't worth it imo if you have a player who can play instead.

      1. Karan14
        • 8 Years
        7 years, 9 months ago

I will have Lloris, Rami, Pogba, Giroud on my bench and Payet in playing 11. But then I don't have Italian cover. And I surely don't fancy 5 French Players against GER/ITA for next round.

        1. Irish Madridista ⭐
          • 13 Years

You get 6 FTs next round, do it then, as opposed to for a hit that you probably won't make back.

            7 years, 9 months ago

I will have 6 FTs but I will have at least 4 players going out. And if Germany go out that's makes it 6 and then I have no Italian cover and 5 French against them next round then.
