The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – Final Reminder

Time is running out to sign up to the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.

Qualification takes place over Gameweek 11 and we will keep entries open until 9am UK time on Monday November 7.

As we revealed last month, this year’s contest is sponsored by FanDuel, who are donating more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants on top of the £350 in Amazon vouchers we are offering to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, all UK entrants who take part in the cup get a £10 free credit from FanDuel added to their account when they play their first game. This can be used at any time as soon as you register with FanDuel.

Sign up to this latest Cup competition via the entry form here.

Timetable

The qualifying round will take place in Gameweek 11, with the first round running in Gameweek 12.

The first round will consist of 1024 teams and, as usual, all the competition’s previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 11. FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions.

Previous winners must enter to be included.

The cup will then be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

    2FT, 0.3 ITB

    Heaton Pickford
    Walker Holebas Smith McCauley Amat
    Sanchez Sterling Walcott Allen Capoue
    Aguerro Costa Lukaku

I want to do Walcott -> Coutinho but need to find 0.5M
Capoue to cheapest mid still leaves me 0.1 short :-/

Downgrade Walker, Totenham needs win in CL 22.11. so he might be absent for 19.11. clash with West Ham....

I wouldn't ditch Walcott. You've already lost the money with his drops, and he might even be back this weekend.

If you want Coutinho, I'd switch Sterling out for him. And then save the other transfer to have 2 over the IB.

Considering Redmond's position even though I wanted to take 2FTs into the break... annoying if he's rested.

I think some of the Redmond fearmongering is overblown here. The Team News page is not infallible.

I'm a lifelong Saints fan, and I'll be rather surprised if he isn't starting come Sunday. Now, is he more likely to come off after 60 minutes? Sure, it is Hull and if they're 2-0 up then give Boufal a runout. But I wouldn't overreact on rumour.

Good point. I'll risk keeping him in order to have the 2FTs.

        He's probably gone after that.

    Should I:

    A. Do Valencia to FUCHS now, but then be priced out of Walcott and Lallana (got Firmino) to hazard (no Chelsea) and Allen next week

    B. Do Valencia to MORGAN, and do Walcott and Lallana to hazard and allen next week

Why? Do you think Morgan will get more points than Fuchs or just so I can do Walcott and lallana to hazard and Allen next week.

Yeah exactly. I can afford Fuchs now along with hazard and Allen but by next week, hazard and Allen will have risen and I wouldn't be able to get them with Fuchs. With Morgan I will be able to get them

Afternoon all. Anyone be kind enough to give me feedback on the below?
    2 FTs and 0.6 itb.

    Foster
    Williams, Pieters, Vertonghen
    Sanchez, Antonio, Bolasie, Firmino
    Costa, Deeney, Aguero

    Grant, Friend, Fletcher, Amat

    a) Deeney > Austin
    b) Antonio to ??? similar

    Struggling here.

Guessing you can't get Cout? Could downgrade Vert to afford him?

I would actually try and get Antonio and Bolaise out, and get Allen/Gundo with another more expensive mid

Deeney can be left for next week (Liv have a bad defence), but Bolaise and Antonio HAVE to go

      1. TheBigLewandowski
        • 7 Years

Taking out Bolasie & Antonio leaves me with 13.5 to play with!

          Play 3-4-3, get Hazard/Coutinho and a Allen/Gundo/Siggy?

Getting Hazard is key now i think,. before his price rises. If you aren't against a hit, Vert+Antonio+Bolaise out could give you ample money to play around 🙂

  6. SuperMario

    Boruc - Pickford
    Ballerina - Fuchs - Pieters - Loren - Amat
    Coutinho - Firminho - Sanchez - Allen - Fletcher
    Aguero - Lukaku - Deeney

    0.4 banked and 1 FT..

Deeney to Austin this week?? Heading out for the night so he does seem the best suited for the next while doesn't he??

On my wildcard atm, thinking of doing this:

    Walcott --> Hazard
    Shaqiri --> Allen
    Costa --> Austin

The main loss I've got here is Costa imo but I think Hazard should be getting more points anyway. Thoughts?
