The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – Sixth Round Draw

This evening we reveal who has made it through to Gameweek 18’s sixth round fixtures of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.

For this contest there are more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, the highest scoring manager each round will win a £30 FanDuel credit, with Big Phil Soccer Team winning that accolade after defeating Funkyav 74 to 51.

He squares up to the FFScout moderator and contributor crew’s last remaining representative, TorresMagic, in what looks like being one of the last 32’s toughest clashes. Just under 10,000 places in the overall rankings separates this pair.

The next highest scoring managers in round five, Tutankhamun, Real Sociopath, Moin, DillyDingDillyDongFC and A Manager Has No Name all win a £10 FanDuel credit.

Among this group DillyDingDillyDongFC will be a favourite to progress, as his rank of 7,316 makes him the highest placed manager left in the competition.

He faces one of the competition’s lowest ranked managers, Space Cadete, who is positioned at 1,033,108 in the overall standings.

Other eye catching community regular ties in round six include Bashvilla’s match with Pinky Unites and The Shoe Makers fixture against Back on the Horse.

The fifth round results can be found via this link, while the full sixth round draw can be found here.

Good luck to those still involved and if you would like more information on the schedule and prizes click this link.

Yeah worth keeping. Just depends if you can afford a good team by having him and Sanchez. I thinking of getting rid for Coutinho when he comes back enabling me to retain Costa and improve elsewhere.

Anyone else's team/squad eaten up by head to heads this week?

    United Vs Sunderland
(De Gea & Ibra) Vs (PVA & Defoe)

    Arsenal Vs West Brom
    (Sanchez) Vs (McAuley)

    Swansea Vs West Ham
    (Fer) Vs (Antonio)

    Southampton Vs Tottenham
    (Fonte) Vs (Eriksen)

With Costa and Jaku not going to play that leaves me with 3 players not H2H; Alonso, Holebas & Capoue.

My transfer was going to be either Fonte or PVA to Jones which won't help this either, thought about playing McAuley which then led me to this post, I can't see Arsenal scoring too many and could be good for attacking returns. Didn't see this mess incoming. Not sure what to do apart from maybe leave it as is and keep on with my long term strategy, likelihood is whoever I bring in place of Fonte could rested anyways, hmmmm.....

My only keeper Foster plays Arsenal(Sanchez)
Would you hold tight with Foster or swap to say Heaton?

Guys im planning the following team in about 3 weeks, Do i forget some Essentials? other options?

    Pickford/Grant
    Brunt/Amat/Alonso/Friend/Valencia
    Hazard/Walcott/Sanchez/Chadli/Tadic
    Aguero/Costa/Anichebe

    - Tadic nice differential and on pens
    - Chadli same reasons
    - Walcott cheap ass goal scorer

Aguero, Costa, Sanchez, Hazard, Alonso, Brunt all seasonkeepers imo...

What do you think? R2m please

Rodriguez over Tadic for me. Rest looks fine, though Phillips could always pose a challenge to Chadli if he hits another purple patch.

nice though i think ibra is going to outscore kun for the next while, united's next 11 fixtures are very tasty, with the exception of the liverpool game . that would free up some extra cash.. personally don't think double arsenal midfield cover needed. also not a tadic fan

I'm not sure about Ibra, he is now in my team, but Aguero vs Burnley is very tempting.
I will try Walcott for the next 5 games, after that i bring in Cout.
Tadic is a gamble, do you know a good replacement 6m-7m?

Thinking of going with Ibra, Costa and Aguero up front. Current team:

    Heaton (Jaku)
    Alonso, Holebas, Daniels (McAuley, 3.9)
    Sanchez, Hazard, Llalana, Zaha, Phillips
    Ibra, Benteke (Costa)

Would it be crazy to swap Hazard for someone like Can so I can bring in Aguero for Benteke?

I think Ibra isnt worth it to keep all season...

If you did that how much money would you have? You could go to Aguero + fodder (de Roon) as you have four decent mids but Zaha is a grey area until we know more about AFCON. Personally I'm looking to get Benteke IN alongside Aguero from GW20.

Do you think I can make up 24 points on my ML rival this week?

Him: Rondon, Allen, Capoue, Sanchez +24pts

    Me: Kane, Benteke, Siggy, Walcott

Assume we will both captain Ibra.

Yup I think so too. He opened this gap with Rondon's 17 points. Oh well!

Worth a KdB punt to create another differential or lost cause?

24 points is tough but I think you have a decent chance to narrow it down. You'll just have to hope that Sanchez wont haul.

Assuming there is some mid season pay day and this your last chance you need to captain Walcott and hope it's your lucky day.

Players receive treatment all the time. He will be fine. It's true that this hightens rotation fears but defecting to a Pep player ain't gonna solve that conundrum

Anything worth a hit there? Really struggling to get going this season. 0FT, 0m ITB.

    Pickford (Jakupovic)
    Alosno Walker Holebas (Pieters Lenihan)
    Sanchez Hazard Eriksen Snodgrass (Fletcher)
    Ibra Kane Origi

Snoddy is going to have to go. Origi probably too. Originally I wasn't planning on getting Aguero back but now I think I have to if I want to maximise my rank.

Ah, bloody hell (and apologies for the long post). A lack of attention paid/guts over the past few gameweeks has left me with a bit of stagnation before the Christmas period. Any advice on how to fix this lot?

    Heaton (Pick)
    Alonso Holebas Walker (McAuley Friend)
    Hazard Eriksen Siggy Allen (Fletch)
    Zlatan Kane Defoe

Swapped out Costa>Ibra already this week so no FT, and nothing ITB. I've been so late in getting on the 3-5-2 wagon as a result of good fortune every week with a slightly reshuffled front 3, but now seems the time.

Need to bring in either Wally or Sanch asap. Worth following the general trend and selling Kane for a sub-8m ST then upgrading Allen to Wally or even Eriksen to Sanch?

Advice appreciated to save my Christmas cheer.
