The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – Entry Now Open

Fantasy Football Scout is pleased to announce the launch of the 13th instalment of our open-to-all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.

This time around there will be more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants courtesy of our partner FanDuel, as well as £350 in Amazon vouchers to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

For UK entrants that take part in the Cup, FanDuel is also offering a £10 free credit added to their account when they play their first game.

This is in addition to another exclusive offer for this weekend only, where the first 300 new FanDuel customers who register before Midday on Saturday will get £5 bonus credit added to their account, with no deposit required.

Sign up to our latest Cup competition via the entry form here to join our previous winners – donnellyc, Jonty, Gribude, Goonerdave, Ninja_Fit_Saints, sleeping master, Mch, Wild Rover, Tdubb05 , CMIFLFC, Mark and our reigning champion Leon Harris in our Cup hall of fame.

If you’re new to all this, read on for a FAQ on the competitions.

How do the cup competitions work?

The FanDuel sponsored FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own Fantasy Cup game. Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores). In the event of a tie, the manager highest in the overall standings will progress.

When do they start?

The qualifying round will take place in Gameweek 11, with the first round running in Gameweek 12.

Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to Monday November 7, when we’ll stop entry.

The first round will consist of 1024 teams and, as usual, all the competition’s previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 11. FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions.

Previous winners must enter to be included.

How do I enter?

Enter the FanDuel sponsored FFS Cup via the entry form here.

You will be sent a confirmation email to verify your entry and you’ll be asked to confirm your FPL team id at the point of entry – please be sure to click the link to verify that your team is correct before confirming. If you FPL team is incorrectly entered, we cannot amend this at a later date.

You entry is only confirmed once you have confirmed your FPL team Id as part of the process.

This confirmation email will also contain FanDuel’s promo code for UK entrants to access their £10 credit.

To check that you’re entered correctly, please scan the list of current entries.

How do I find my FPL team Id?

Your FPL Id is your unique Id for your FPL team. This is found via your Gameweek History page – the link to which is found in the right hand menu under your FPL team strip. When you visit your Gameweek History you will see a number in the URL (as opposed to the XXX below).

https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/entry/XXX/history

Place this 1-7 digit number or your Gameweek History URL in the FPL id field on the entry form.

When will I find out if I’ve qualified?

Results from the qualifying round cups will be published shortly after Gameweek 11 has concluded and then weekly from that point on.

What is the Gameweek Schedule?

This cup competition will be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

Note that some Gameweeks are skipped due to tight turnaround times.

Round 1 – 1024 teams – Gameweek 12

Do I need to be registered with Fantasy Football Scout?

We ask you to supply a FFScout username so we can feature you, as a member of our community, in any articles associated with the tournament. Thoughts on:
    Zlatan + Capoue + Williams ---> Deeney + Son + Bellerin (-4).

Worth the hit or just not get Bellerin

Hit that. Williams never getting a clean sheet if you play him and Bellerin good for a few points probably plus next week can then use the transfer elsewhere

a girl i know works in events/hospitality/hosting etc and used to work in quite a fancy bar in south london. anyway she knows nothing about nor cares very little for football (her house of 4 people didn't know who messi was 😯 ), but knows i do. she was telling me about 'celebrities' which used to come to that bar, how ridiculous some of their orders were, how epic some of their tips were etc etc. anyway she said one of the nicest customers she came was this guy who was really down to earth and 'not a d******* like a lot of them.'
she said she didn't know his second name but a colleague told her he was a footballer for crystal palace. anyway, she just knew him as jason

My nephew works in hospitality in Seattle at one of the big hotels....he looks after the needs of some of the rich and famous.

He once enjoyed a weekend looking after David Beckham but had no idea who he was other than he was a footballer and that he'd been assigned to look after him. He was having cuppa's with him and all sorts...

Exact cash for that. Only way of getting Bellers is:

            Valencia&Lallana out for Bell&Snoddy

Anyone else feel that Swansea might be a trap game for Arsenal?

Games directly following the FIFA breaks are always tricky for the bigger clubs

Arsenal tend to struggle against a Swansea side who have won last two times they've been to the Emirates and they also might be running off adrenaline following the appointment of a new manager who is very defensive with his tactics...
