It seems that every Fantasy Football manager in the land is seeking counsel.

Sergio Aguero’s 20-points has caused joy and consternation – mainly the latter – and we’re all in need of reassurance and solutions. 

The ScoutCast crew are no different.

Granville, Jonty, Andy and Az join me in searching for answers, thankful for the opportunity to bounce ideas and opinion. 

Contrary to popular thinking, among the noise and chatter, we do arrive at a tentative conclusion.

All but one of us are willing to bend to Sergio’s surge in points and popularity or fall for Pep’s potential plot. We’re abstaining on the Aguero option for now and, over this 90 minutes, we’ll tell you just why.

Aguero dominates, but we have ample time to entertain other community questions, discussing Harry Kane’s latest failings, the premium defenders that warrant our trust and our cash, while Jonty is itching to take us through his handpicked bonus magnet XI.

    Only real way I have of fitting in Kun is:

    Mounie, Mane, Bailly > Aguero, Jones, Atsu(or alternative)

    That'd give me front three of Kane, Kun, Luk. Defence would be even more p*ss than it already is, albeit I'd still have Mkhi and Alli in midfield. Really can't decide whether to go this or spread funds.

    Decent start to his Burnley career goal scoring wise, scored for fun in Leeds, seems to have the right ingredients to be a good PL scorer.

    Hovering between getting rid of Kane or Aguero or not. What makes me really tempted to do the move is the captaincy. I'd be captaining Kane this week but I think Aguero is the best captain option this week. Next week I'm captaining Lukaku so Kane wouldn't be my captain then neither. Do you think that is the best way to justify Kane to Aguero, captaincy?

    Question for those wildcarding in the next International Break, do you regret waiting now?

    Look like prices for key players have risen enough to make it very hard to get a strong squad, seems like you'll have to punt more than anything.

      No, lots can happen in the next couple of weeks and economies can be made if you still want a similar team to what you would today, e.g. Cahill instead of Alonso or Atsu instead of Ritchie wouldn't be the end of the world.

      Absolutely not. That's the whole point of waiting till 8. The fixtures change, what's good now may not be good after wk8. What's bad now will be gold after wk 8

    Can't believe i'm going to say this, but i'm going in to the weekend without City coverage. Kane, Lukaku and Vardy. I can't convince myself to jump aboard the Aguero bandwagon and remove any of those three. Kane is proven and i don't trust Pep. Also haunted by the blank gameweek last year v Stoke. Either way, I will be hiding behind the sofa at 3pm.

      Nicely done and very similar to my team, same front 3, almost the same midfield (have Gross instead of RLC),
      I have much weaker defence though (Cedric & Zanka instead of Kola & Johnes) but I would get yours defenders if were on WC. Good luck today
