GW31 focused transfers...too early to get rid of Jones and Christensen? Not sure I want to lose Vertonghen with their upcoming fixtures...

    (a) RLC Jones Christ -> Deulofeu Robertson Bauer (-4)
    (b) RLC Vert -> Deulofeu Bauer (free)

Jones a slight rotation risk or safe?

Christensen probably needs to go if he’s out this weekend. Maybe it’s worty keeping Jones.

Wouldn’t get rid of Vertonghen right now.

maybe - thinking of one hit this week and one next week and then getting 10/11 should be easy

    We want:

    1) Swansea, Huddersfield and Spurs to win their 4th round replays
    2) All the PL teams to win without replays in the 5th round and of the all PL ties - Man Utd and WBA to win

Then only Liverpool vs Watford and Everton vs Stoke will go ahead in GW31.

Way too early to be making transfers for week 31. So much can happen between now and then. Maximise your points for the next 3 weeks imo regardless of who is playing in week 31.

Doesn’t hurt to plan accordingly, especially if you have already used the FH chip.

Players like Walcott are good value and why not get him now with his fixtures and form?

While his fixtures and form are good, agreed. Pick him based on that. But don’t let a gameweek 5 weeks away cloud your judgement.

Yep, I’d have got Walcott this week regardless of GW31

I agree. GW28/GW29 fixture shift is much more important than GW31 at the moment IMO.

      Planning will help.

Salah, Firmino, Walcott, Shaq & Pickford/Henno a good basis to have.

Notts goal should have been given as offside imo. The offside player is between the keeper and the flight of the ball. Whether or not that puts the keeper off is a subjective call, which can be avoided by giving offside objectively due to the offside player standing between keeper's eyeline and the ball.

You have to have all these little rule clarifications if you choose not to say offside is offside, whether they are involved or not. And as it stands, the VAR has taken a subjective call about whether the player was distracting or not, which leaves the door open to controversy. (This has nothing to do with VAR; it just happened to be involved, and could have helped make the right call on this occassion. If the rule says otherwise, then I think the rule should be changed). Any thoughts?

    1FT; 2.1 itb

    Courtois, Adrian
    Jones, Stones, Mee, Duffy, Daniels
    Salah, Sterling, Shaqiri, Gross, RLC
    Kane, Firmino, Vardy

Fixtures for all the defenders are nice this GW, so no need for big investment atm...
