Probably the 26 pts he just hauled. I'd play both, myself.

I've done Salah and Olise to Son and Foden. Gives me a midfield of:

    Saka, KDB, Foden, Son, Palmer.

    Pretty happy with that.

Reckon Haaland falls in price before deadline? Might pop Watkins in as a placeholder as if Haaland drops, I can buy him back at my current Sell Value...

Rough with the Smooth, Gameweek 34.

    How did your Gameweek go?

      Rough:

77 points. Used my FH in 29, regretting it (obviously). Thought Haaland and palmer could cover for Lionel Mateta. Lost my 60 point lead, now down by 25.

      Smooth:

      I still have my health.

Smooth = didn't play my carefully planned BB. Would have been a grand total of 2 pts.

Rough = didn't play my carefully planned BB. Now what?

It's an overrated chip anyway. Just focus on your starting eleven, play it in a random Gameweek when you haven't any better chips to use and hope for the best.

      Rough:

Wednesday night with 6 blankers in Salah (C), Diaz, Trent, Neto, Solanke, Eze... and bloody Kerkez!

      Smooth:

      125 points. 82K > 45K.
      White & Mateta heroes.
      Trent differential went okay.

Rough: Wasted my bench boost for a total of 4 points. Palmer and Haaland both being out really hurt.

Smooth: Still got 135 points thanks to Pickford, Foden, and Mateta. Would have been buzzing if I just didn't hit the BB.

      Rough:
Having used all my chips in earlier Gameweeks, I only scored 88 and dropped 51k places to 372k - now likely to finish outside the top 300k for the first time (last season's 282k was my previous worst).
Captain Salah blanked twice, goalkeeper Neto only played once and only got one point, and Wood and Sarabia also blanked.

      Smooth:
Branthwaite (20), Saliba (14) and Gabriel(12) all hauled, and Zabarnyi (7) and Akanji (6) were auto-subbed in to replace Palmer and Haaland.

Rough: Even though I played my BB of Dubravka: Haaland: Munoz: Branthwaite, I feel like I’ve wasted it as Branthwaite & and Munoz would of come in for Palmer & Haaland anyway, but then again I may not of brought in and played Pickford or Branthwaite if I hadn’t of played it, so I guess somewhat of a silver lining.
Darwin failing yet again, and Salah captain just an absolute fail.

Smooth: still scored 117 pts (-4), with an ever so small green from 27k > 22k
Wildcarding this GW and removing all the dross, Saka & Salah main players to have been removed.

Rough: No Palace. Salah©, Darwin, Neto, lost three doublers in the build-up, Haaland & Palmer no-show with only 2pt auto-sub.

Smooth: SGW Bruno & Foden late charge provided a 10% green arrow for the week despite no chip played.

      Rough
Palmer & Haaland no show and started Kelleher in the off chance he'd play (Petrovic, Ait Nouri & Smith subbed in 10pts between them so it could have been worse I suppose)

      Smooth
Mateta(c) for 133pts, White, Gabriel, Munoz, Smith, Saka, Muniz the other heros 🙂

Smooth: Best score of the season 156, FH well used to buy Mateta, Bruno, Odegaard and White. What an unexpected clean sheet for Pickford vs Liverpool.

Rough: Salah captain and VVD over Branthwaite (still won't do this in hindsight!). But I won't complaining. Feel much better for an awful season performance wise.

Rough: non-FHer; lost 46 points on my ML lead. Liverpool players, Haaland, Palmer (first sub) all fails. Maguire last on the bench - been holding him for this match.

Smooth: forgot Reguilon came in for Haaland. Lead still 20. Still got my health and sanity.

Smooth ; Highest ever non-chip score I think, 122 points from 10 men, with Richards subbing for Palmer. Henderson, Branthwaite, Zabarnyi, Mateta, Gabriel, Odegaard, Saka, Solanke all returned.

Rough ; Only player not to return was Salah(c). Palmer and Gusto no shows meant I couldn't sub Haaland.

      Moved up 400k to 700k.

      68 points. 1.8m > 2.2m OR.

Smooth: Mateta & Trent, the 2 transfers in were the only decent players this week.

Rough: Everyone else. Game finds new ways to screw me over every week! Only had 9 men with Gusto & Palmer both out, should've captained Mateta instead of Salah, everyone else getting well over 100 really does rub it in too 🙁

Shout out to my daughter who hit a 125 point week with BB even with Neto missing the second game, no Palmer and no Haaland. Such a shame they didn't play as she had a genuine 65 point bench boost before Mateta and Anderson subbed in. Still hit 25 though which is good enough.

      Salah (c)

      Smooth: took a -8 and gained 51 points 59(-8)

      Son to Bruno
      Kheller to Pickford
      Bowen to Eze
      Toney to Watkins

      Benched Palmer

Rough: Sold Foden for Luis Diaz. Bench Boost ended up being just Neto and Schär after Garnacho and Branthwaite came on for Palmer and Håland.

Smooth: Still my best week of the season with 131 points. Mateta, Branthwaite, Pickford the stars and Saka (C) outscored Salah. Went from 232k to 116k.

Slightly rejigged this WC team guys from previous page, could change again but this is sitting with me a little bit better.

Reminder that I have no other chips in play,

      Onana
      Gabriel - Schar - White
      Foden - Palmer - Bruno - Son - Havertz
      Haaland - Isak
      __________________________________
Pickford: Jackson: Walker: Van de Ven

      - Removed Petrovic, Chelsea defence just doesn’t inspire. Neither does Van de Ven but he’s cheap and will likely even bench him for this DGW, no clean sheets are going to happen.
      - Removed Gordon for Havertz, and could switch him to Gordon for 37.

      - This just leaves Jackson which doesn’t fill me with confidence, could even bench him and a decent stand in if Haaland doesn’t play?
      - Tempted also to go Gvardiol over Walker to save some pennies?

I dunno, this is me just waffling at this point but hopefully I’m getting my point across and maybe helps others.

This is going to be headaches galore with this team but I think it’s more of a nicer problem than a bad on?

I’ve waffled but be nice to see some opinions cheers gents!

        Curious why Schar over Dubravka?

        1. RICICLE

I’d already removed Dubravka, just prefer the more attacking option of Newcastles defence, Schar/Burn provides that.
Dubravka still a nice option, I just prefer the liklihood of more points.

Now thinking of Ederson over Onana to solve the benching Walker decision with 5.0m to play with for a defender, for the choices in WC right now are endless haha!

But surely Dubravka and Dalot is more attacking than Onana and Schar?

Well as for the keeper Vs Keeper, it’s here nor there, they’re keepers and not ‘attacking’……..but Schar is leagues ahead of Dalot.
Interesting as to how you come to that conclusion when Schar has been scoring and Dalot is…….well….just Dalot in a horrendous United defence.

Have you watched United lately? Dalot takes up extremely attacking positions. And any knock on United's horrid defense hits Onana just as hard as Dalot. I'm not considering either of them.

I have yes but surely you’ve seen Schar and Newcastle’s games? Far exceeds that of United. I’ve removed Onana for Ederson anyway now, may just shove Maguire in there as a cheapie think can easily just bench.

On defence, not keen on MU. Double Ars could make or break it.
Attack, how about second Spurs attacker and reassess on 36/37?
As for City, I’m debating myself them vs Pep’s roulette. Plenty of alternatives.

      Sort of like this team.

      Vicario / X
      Porro / White / Gabriel / Schar / X
      Son / Foden / Bruno / Palmer / Gordon
      Haaland / Isak / Jackson

      For the 2 X's
      A) Ederson & Maguire
      B) Pickford & Walker

      Ederson/Walker:
      36 (WOL), 37 (FUL/TOT), 38 (WHU)

      Pickford:
      36 (LUT), 37 (SHU), 38 (ARS, bench)

      Maguire:
      36 (CRY, bench), 37 (ARS/NEW), 38 (BHA, bench)

Could have Dalot & Burn instead of Maguire & Schar, too.

The more I am looking at Jackson in my WC team the more I’m in disbelief, he just offers absolutely nothing, and have foresaken all Chelsea defence now.

Haha, I know, I know. I think I’m only considering because my 2 ML rivals have Isak so I want to go different.

I hear ya, but it certainly does not get better for Isak with those fixtures, he’s clearly gonna blow Jackson out of the water even with a fixture less, I’m only considering Jackson as a bench player for Haaland like I say, that’s how little I believe in him haha

Np bud. This is also another option, even losing Halaand. I doubt he plays both for the double also, especially if Arsenal slip up a little. I suppose this is where a decent bench comes in, I’m just struggling to think who I would choose instead of him if I was to drop him, possibly Watkins.

I’ll likely keep him as a shield though as it’s becoming a close rat race with me and this annoying rival behind me in 2nd in my main cash ML haha! Had a 65 point lead after the Pool & Everton game, now reduced to 49 because of annoying Foden! At least I have him converted now in WC.
He has BB left though after his WC, gotta hope I’ll stay ahead after leading all season!
