Chelsea’s rout of the Villa back four generated some impressive statistics for Rafa Benitez’s men, whilst over the way in West London, Martin Jol’s Fulham are stacking up numbers on the other end of the spectrum. We take a closer look at the team statistics involved, along with a focus on the form of David Silva, Steven Pienaar and Demba Ba as we plunder the members area for the key statistics from Gameweek 18.
Cameron.
Open Controlscheaper options available if you fancy the money
Open ControlsCameron out of those 3 defo.
Dawson rotation, Fulham look lost at the back these days.
Can you upgrade to Nastastic?Open ControlsI can't mate I am already upgrading Dempsey > Bale
Open Controls
Currently have:
Mignolet - Federici
Enrique - Gibbs - Cameron - Cuellar - Shorey
Silva - Walcott - Yaya - Michu - Puncheon
RVP - Suarez - Berba
Which looks the best way to go from here (over 2 weeks)
a) Gibbs, Silva, Yaya > Bale, Mata, 4.3 DEF (Davies/Williamson)
b) Cuellar, Yaya > Luiz, Pienaar
c) Gibbs, Yaya > Billy Jones, Mata/Bale
d) Other suggestion (0.8 in bank)Open Controlsa, def a

Finger lurking over Santi + McAnuff ---->Puncheon + Bale for -4.
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/4877/event-history/18/
Is it worth the -4, I can just doo Santi--->Bale but really fancy Puncheon to do something next GWOpen ControlsJust do Santi > Bale
Open Controlsyep, unlikely punch wil be worth the -4

Open ControlsDo I trust you, La Liga UCL rival? 😉
Open ControlsI come in peace! 😀
Open ControlsIt is going to be close. That Yaya bap to draw against Boom Shakalaka could be so important...
I think Puncheon could be in my team come 11.29 on boxing day..Open ControlsHehe, it sure is. I am probably going to have to hope for Stoke to concede and Spurs to score some golazos
Open ControlsI have had a look at TW has some defensive issues next week, I have had defensive issues all season. I have no listen to my gut here, I can only blame myself if it goes wrong or right.
I am taking the hitOpen Controls
What a disaster this week, playing Sky FF. captained Cazorla and he gets minimum points and Arsenal have no game on Wednesday.
Does changing captain allow me for this game week on Wefnesday or will it be Saturday?Open ControlsYou can't change your captain midweek. It's Saturday to Friday
Open ControlsLast season they had some issues with that but clarified you wouldn't get double for the new captain. I assume that is still the case.
Open Controls
I've just changed my Capt from Aguero to RVP without any problems
Open ControlsRVP will be your captain for the West Brom game not the Newcastle game.
Open Controls
Sat, check out the Game Status link under the home tab

Wild Rover - The man talks some sense
3rd striker spot has proved a source of pain this season whislt the big hitting mids all seem essentula (though I'm tempted by Silva over Mata) RvP, Ba and Pog may be the way forward.Open ControlsBa will be off in Jan though, won't he?
Open Controlscould probably afford Suarez, or, Aguero Tevez, or Torres instead
Open Controls
No its just what is happening at the moment.
6 weeks ago everybody was going on about how striker spots were essential and we didn't need big mids.
They weren't.
No such thing as an absoloute strategy just roll with the punches and try and keep players in each price bracket so you can switch them when form/suspensions come calling.Open Controls😆 "No such thing as an absoloute strategy" "proposes absoloute strategy"
Open Controlsand lol at Pog being the way forward 🙂
Open Controls
Mignolet
Luiz – Cameron – Enrique
Pienaar – Michu – Silva – Puncheon
Suarez – Long – RVP
Jaas – Gardner – McAuley – Mertesacker
Any thoughts on this team will be gratefully received!! 🙂Open Controlsyaya to pienaar a decent move?
also what's up with rafael?Open ControlsJust looking at Ruiz's Twitter, he must be close to a return. Hopefully ASAP for Dimitar.
https://twitter.com/bryanruizcrOpen ControlsWill Luiz be back in defence or a rotation factor once Mikel is back?
Open ControlsStopped watching after Torres' goal (I'm gutted), but why were Villa so poor?
Sublime Chelsea attack, rubbish Villa defending, both?Open Controls76 for me. Finally got my captain right!

G'day gents, Taarabt or Snodgrass? (mainly need him for this week)
Open ControlsAdel for this GW

Somebody give an honest appraisal of why Bale is important to buy right now please.
Leave out the words 'Just do it' or 'Just get Bale, stupid'Open ControlsThree 10+ pts in away games.
Open ControlsCombined with 6/9 away games coming up
Open Controls
Purchase the Welsh winger post-haste, ignoramus.
Open ControlsFixtures, explosive, funny jaw line
Open ControlsFixtures, much more of a goal threat than other alternatives (E.g. - Silva, Cazorla).
Open ControlsMaybe better to ask yourself why you wouldn't bring him in.
Open ControlsThe theory seems to be that he is an "essential" player, because he is "explosive" and because he has scored double figures in 4 games this season. People also remember last season when he was producing spectacular returns for a good part of the first half of the season, but they forget that in the second half he was not value for money at all, but they hung onto him anyway waiting for him to explode again. He is a quality player, and is talked up a lot in the press as being truly world class, what with Modric sending him swetheart messages of "gareth you must come and join me its great here on the bench you are world class" etc.
This season he has had:
8 games where he scored 1,2 or 3.
3 games of 7,8 & 9
4 games of 10,11 & 16.
I think it is the 16 that makes everyone say he is important to buy.
But Spurs last 3 games have not exactly been great FF returns.
Saying that, next week he plays Villa, then Southampton, which people see as "easy" fixtures where he is bound to score double figures. He scored 3 pts at home to villa last time, 2 at home to wigan and 3 against fulham.
He is expensive, and if he returns then you will be happy, but its a lot of money.
Personally I would like to see Spurs be a bit more convincing before I get him in, as I need to take hits to do it right now..... v poss he will be in Jan WC team, but I am currently liking Michu, Pienaar and even Sessegnon too much at the moment to ship them out.Open ControlsWow, fantastic comment. I would just like to correct you on one thing. It's not Southampton he has after Villa...it is Sunderland. But otherwise excellent analysis on why Bale has such appeal and maybe is a tad overrated too. He does seem to be fetishised by regulars on here in a way that no other player is. I'm slowly persuading myself to wait and see what he does against Villa but will have to put a bit more thought into it. Thanks RDPX, quality poster! 🙂
Open ControlsI think he is a good player to have on your team, don't get me wrong. But he is affected by the same hype as Baines, Suarez and Berbatov.
You have to be realistic about it if you are going to pick him, otherwise you risk paying too much attention to echoing noise.Open Controls
Thanks, good comments
Open Controls
he had a "knock"
Open Controls
I find it slightly odd that Michu has had only 1 assist all season...
Open ControlsWhat's everyone's verdict on Berba this week? Keep or sell?
Open ControlsHe doesn't need form, he's not normal in that way. At united Lil Pea kept him out the team for a month, he came back in and scored 5. He's at home to a Southampton team that cannot score unless they concede..
Open ControlsMore pressing issues
Open ControlsKeep. But my patience is wearing so thin
Open ControlsCan't sell him with his next 4 fixtures. Plus no one in his price range with his potential.
Penalties, set pieces, ability to get something from nothing. Who else gives you that for 7m?Open ControlsFletcher doing way better in case you hadn't noticed.
Open ControlsCurrently yes, I had noticed. My point was over the next 4 fixtures. Have you seen Sunderland's?
Open Controls
Please rate my team. 0.4m in the bank.

Open ControlsRVP - Suarez - Torres
Open ControlsRVP Suarez... Ba
Open ControlsHappy enough with my RvP, Suarez, Berbatov here. Will re-assess Berba in couple gameweeks.
Open ControlsRVP Ba Pog
Open ControlsFor my WC card thinking RVP Suarez Tevez
Open Controls
Get's me so fired up. Do you guys really think RVP could have died? Watch the FA get pressured into giving a 13 match ban. 1 more than Joey Barton. What garbage.
Open ControlsWhat happened? I didn't watch the game
Open Controls- Open Controls
lol 13 match ban would be feckin ridiculous! People wonder why footballers act so precious, it's we treat them so precious. Man up and carry on I say
Open Controls
Is that your professional medical opinion?
Open Controlslucky he does daily muscle work on his neck.
Open ControlsI don't want to stick my neck out on this issue.
Open ControlsFrom yahoo
"Robin van Persie is lucky to be alive," he told the BBC. "It was a disgraceful act from their player today and he should be banned by the FA. Robin could have had a broken neck."
Ferguson added on Sky Sports: "He (Van Persie) could have been killed - I think the FA has got to look into it.
"I think irrespective of having a yellow card, he should be banned for a long time because it was the most dangerous thing I have seen on a football field for many, many years. SINCE ROY KEANE YEAH?
"Absolutely deliberate. The whistle has gone, the game has stopped and he has done that right in front of the referee.Open ControlsFergie was ranting. Look how purple is nose was.
More to do with him dropping two points.Open Controls
Would ya play Foster (qpr) or Mig (MCI) ?
Open ControlsBen Davies nailed on for Swansea before I hit the confirm transfer button? 4.1m looks an absolute steal
Open Controlsyes. by far best value budget defender imo
Open Controls
What order would you put these in for most want to have over next 6-8 GW.
a) Bale
b) Mata
c) Silva
Can't decide between ABC and BAC but think rafatation swings it.Open Controlsa, b, c
Open Controls
MF is currently.
Walcott | Cazorla | Silva | Puncheon | Sterling
Thinking of transferring Walcott out this week with a view to possibly getting him back in next week. What's the best option for this GW? Likely to get a double price rise on either too?
A. Michu
B.PienarOpen ControlsWhy is everyone so quick to make transfers this week ?
One of those weeks where it best to wait imoOpen ControlsMe personally I usually wait but keen to get the price rises as likely to be a transfer for just this week (see above).
Open Controlspossibly because its only 2 days until the next GW.
Open ControlsThere's christmas pudding to be eaten
Open ControlsOur capt Aguero didnt work out to well aye
Still, not much damage done in the end, hes the one i might kick outOpen Controls
Wait for what? Team news on xmas eve/day?!
Open Controls
No point keeping Ridgewell is there? Injury doubt, game probably coming to quick for him and Popov doing well enough at LB.
Open ControlsCurrently on Michu (c), but as ever can't escape the feeling that this will be the GW RvP goes crazy. But Michu plays Reading, who I think will be set up differently at home v Swans than they were away at City, could be some space for Michu, who let's face it, is basically fixture proof.
Thoughts people, who are you going with?Open Controls

I really regret selling Cameron. Should I just get him back in?
Ridgewell > Cameron, Dawson or Hughes?
