It’s been confirmed that Micah Richards has undergone an operation on his long-term calf injury and is out for the remainder of the season. City had planned to put Richards under the knife in the summer but his recent absence with an ankle injury has led to City biting the bullet and going through with the op now. This now means that Onuoha is likely to remain in the right-back slot for City’s final games. City face Villa at home at the weekend.
