The Telegraph have launched their squad game, TFFO Squad Manager today. This particular game differs from the Telegraph’s more popular “basic” TFF game by enabling you to pick and manage a squad of 18 players and compete for the £20,000 first prize or form a mini-league with mates. Entry to this game is £10 a team compared to £6 for the TFF game.

Like the TFF game, the Telegraph appear to have altered the scoring system somewhat, scraping “Key Contributions” which saw more than one player gaining points for each goal and opting for a simple single, assist system. What’s strange however, is that the rules specify that no assists are given for penalties and own goals – the only game, that I know of, which does that. Another odd move, again affecting both this game and the TFF, is the fact that only UK residents can register. Again, a strange move that will obviously limit registration numbers. You can read my full review of the TFFO here.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
