Sven has tipped City left-back Michael Ball for further England honours, offering further indication that the former Everton and Rangers player is assured of his starting role in the City side [source].
Ball was actually selected once by Sven when he managed Engand, back in 2001. He made one appearance under him against Spain but was never capped again. However, Sven feels that Ball has what it takes to get himself back into the England reckoning.
“He has surprised me. He is a much better player now than he was four or five years ago when I picked him for England”, remarked the City boss.
“The way his is playing now is brilliant.â€
That kind of talk will flash a green light to any fantasy manager still unsure on the City left-back. Ball ousted Garrido for the shirt back in mid-December and has been selected for the last five Premiership matches in earning clean sheets in the last two.
He is available for £4.4 million in the Fantasy Premier League game and £3.4 in the Fantasy League games, making him a bargain in both whilst he is assured of his place.
