Stoke’s Mama Sidibe is expected to face a long lay off after he suffered suspected cruciate knee ligament damage against Fulham at the weekend.
Sidibe was stretchered from the field mid-way through the first half and although full confirmation of the extent of the injury is not yet confirmed, Stoke are reportedly already on the lookout for a replacement in the January window…
The Stoke striker was just beginning to emerge as a possible budget fantasy signing following performances that had brought him two goals in three games prior to the weekend. Pulis seems likely to turn to Creswell to partner Fuller at Blackburn with Kitson is still absent with a knee injury.
Today’s reports also confirm that club skipper Griffin, another popular fantasy purchase, is still undergoing treatment on his knee injury that kept him out of the Fulham game.
