Robinho has mysteriously left Man City’s training camp in Tenerife. Details are scarce right now but apparently the club have confirmed Robinho has departed but have not volunteered a reason behind the development…
There’s clearly a mystery developing here, with City’s executive chairman Garry Cook is quoted over at the BBC…
“I do know Robinho is not at the training centre in Tenerife….If he has left the training ground it is a breach of club discipline. I am waiting for a full debrief.”
Rumours will of course suggest that the striker has stormed out, perhaps frustrated by the clubs inability to convince Kaka to join the ranks (wasn’t a miserable Craig Bellamy enough?).
We will here plenty more on this very soon I’m sure. In the meantime, those contemplating the Brazilian for City’s strong run of fixtures, starting next week against Newcastle, would be advised to cool their interest while we wait for developments.
