In one of the day’s smaller deals, Wigan have allowed Henri Camara to join Stoke for the rest of the season. That won’t send shockwaves thorugh the Premier League but it should get Camara blinking on our fantasy radars once again…

Henri Camara will be a handy signing for Pulis as his side battles against relegation. The Senegalese striker is no stranger to such a battle having experienced the situation with Wolves, Southampton and Wigan in previous Premier League seasons.

With just two full games for Wigan this term, it was obvious he would need a move to gain starts and, despite the presence of Beattie and Fuller at the Britannia, you would expect Camara to be on the team sheet regularly from this point on. This could well be profitable for fantasy managers.

When he’s given regular starts, he can produce the goods for club and fantasy owners. Camara is a budget striker across the various fantasy games and is priced at just 4.7 in the Fantasy Premier League game. At that price he is surely worth a look just as means to free up funds but he could be more useful than that, particularly with Stoke’s fixtures looking favourable from now until the end of the season.

In the short-term we can expect a Camara debut at Sunderland at the weekend, followed by a home game with Portsmouth. Both those opponents offer potential for Camara to get himself off the mark.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
