In case you missed it earlier today, Frank Lampard’s red card received for his challenge on Liverpool’s Alonso on Sunday has been rescinded. The Chelsea man and fantasy heavyweight will not serve a ban and will be free to lineup against Hull at the weekend.

After the rather bizarre Bosingwa decision, this is at least a sign of common sense from the FA. Talking of common sense, or perhaps a lack of, Lampard has been transferred out by over 37,000 Fantasy Premier League managers so far this week, presumably in anticipation of a ban that never really looked likely. That could cost a few come the weekend.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
