Ferguson keeps faith with Tevez up front after his performance at Fulham and Berbatov’s tepid display against Inter. Uncle Bulgaria watches on the bench then. Anderson comes in for Scholes in central midfield and Park returns for Giggs – no real surprise there. As for Liverpool, the good news for United is that Alonso is crocked so Lucas (oh dear) starts in midfield alongside Mascherano. Aurellio holds onto the left-back spot, while Riera returns on the left of midfield for Babel.
