That time again already folks; time for your weekly round-up on all the big action across the Scout Leagues.

Did you benefit from Ashley Cole’s goals (again)? Did you find scrape through in your Head to Head thanks to that late, late Michael Owen goal? Let’s find out about those lucky souls who did…

Fantasy Football Scout League (Fantasy Premier League)

Continuing our sizzling pace, Fantasy Football Scout is quite simply the league of leagues. Champions last year and now we have jumped another spot up to second place overall, not long now and we’ll be sitting exactly where we belong – well done you!

A new leader once again in Australian Stevie Stats, well done to you but I want to highlight someone else this week. Having been a site poster for well over a year now, I have been watching Burton slowly climbing up the table this season, and 77 points this week has pushed him into 5th spot – could he be this years puffinboy? Too early to tell, but well done so far.

Fantasy Football Scout League (Can You Kick It)

Steadfast and resolute in the Can You Kick It game, the Scout League is in second place here as well – more than enough time for us to get our grips on two leagues by the end of the season. Cam Dickey is the new man on the pedestal in this here league, but much like the classic FPL league, there is someone else deserving of some added Scout mentions this week. That man is McEwan, dusting himself off from losing to Akers in the first round of the cup, our poster from north of the border has only gone and got the number one score for the gameweek. That’s right, numero 1, top dog, head honcho. Vermaelen’s haul proving a right treat with the captains armband.

FFS H2H 1

We plunge deep into the murky waters of our highly competitive Head to Head leagues. We have a new but quite familiar face leading the lines here. Dino beat the previously unbeaten BP FC in a relative cake walk of 12 gameweek points. This left a spot right open for Bestparamedic to reclaim that spot this week, thanks to her emphatic victory over Seanigula via a more than impressive overall score. The zero point brigade are no more as well, both of Seal and Captainmarvel got off the mark with big victories too, thanks to their respective 72 and 80 weekly hauls – nice job!

FFS H2H 2

A Torres brace and 3 bonus points were more than handy this week in helping Aldershot Rejects climb to the top of this Head to Head table, an emphatic 71-57 victory over Fran made it a battle of the now current top and bottom team in the league. JWF (despite losing this week) and Dick Fran Dyke are only not in first place though thanks to their overall rankings, so watch you back – and keep up your A game, all of you.

I’m rewarding the “arm around the shoulder award” this week to Don Corleone, on the bitter end of his 5th defeat in 6 games this week he truly shows how integral luck can be in these leagues. Don has the highest rank in his league (360 points, 8366th), yet sits down in 19th position. Hopefully next week will be your time.

FFS H2H 3

adz this week got the highest points tally of all our 100 select Head to Head members with a highly impressive 84 point take. Drogba, Torres, Milner, Ashley Cole and co all conspired to another victory and that second spot. What is more impressive is with the right captain and team selection he could have even had 99 points this week. So he’s in second place, is our regular West Ham fan still on top? No, he lost 50-44 to Verbal this week. The man who takes his spot is djman102, who this week bested ryangal192. Second place in the CYKI league, and first in the Head to Head, nice start. Pop Ooh Yeah beat TorresMagic this week (and in the cup too! 1 in 5000 chance of that double draw!) and Dribbler lost to his brother, for those interested – sibling rivalries and all.

FFS H2H 4

Competitive is a word that can so very easily describe this league, only one person so far has 5 wins, nobody an unblemished record, what a toughie. Chris Jones is the man with the target on his chest as his Real Deal beat out Donnyload 55-47 in a more low key affair this gameweek. After knocking Mark out of the cup in the first round, Canucklehead this week toppled last weeks league leader The Rock by just one single point – and this despite captaining Glen Johnson for a mammoth 2 points.

FFS H2H 5

As previously warned, Lovely Camel was the undoing of last weeks league leader jils in a closely fought out 67-65 victory, the selections of James Milner and Gabby Agbonlahor in this one came up trumps over Ashley Young & Stephen Warnock – proving the little differences that can be found just inside one team. Captain Keg (whomever you are?) is the man who managed to snag the top spot for now, a 76 point return is certainly something I am envious of myself – Jonathan Ward will probably be a little bit peeved too, losing out even though he scored 68 points.

FFS H2H Reserve League

Another 7 managers fell by the wayside of the unbeaten run in the reserve league, now only a mere 15 managers have scraped away with 6 wins in a row. Alistair Marsden and his team El Fusilado are currently lording it over all those in the reserve league. There is currently a giant (by this leagues standards) 11 overall point gap between him and Los Galacticos (managed by Ro6035) making it an all spanish named team rivalry for the reserves.

Strikers are still the men on form, can it continue? Can my terrible run of luck carry on? Can Don Corleone get that victory his points tally deserves? Can we expect to see the next of my reports around the same time next week? Heck, yes we can.
