The first significant team news of the day comes from Old Trafford where Alex Ferguson has revealed that Nemanja Vidic will train today in a bid to be in contention for the trip to Fulham this weekend. However, there was less positive news on Edwin Van der Sar who has flown to Holland to receive further assessment of his knee injury that has kept him out of the last two games.
Kuszczak will again be between the sticks for United and with the news of of Van der Sar’s continued troubles, he is now emerging as a realistic target for the Christmas period. Kuszczak is priced at just 4.3 in the Fantasy Premier League game – a major temptation should he hold the keepers spot for United’s very kind run of fixtures to come (ful hul WIG bir BUR).
Ferguson also confirmed that Wes Brown, Gary Neville, Rafael and Nani would sit out the weekend clash. There was no news on Ryan Giggs’ hamstring injury that kept him out of the Wolves game. However, United’s official site has him down as a doubt for tomorrow’s game. Then again they say the same about Nani who is definitely ruled out for another fortnight according to Ferguson. It’s all a little confusing. Giggs is a doubt. That much we know for now.
