Another year, another hangover? We feel your pain. Not to worry; once the head has cleared we thought you may want to distract yourself with another Fantasy Football game. Not quite the “hair of the dog” but perhaps more benficial.

The title of this article is less than ambiguous, this newly launched game from “Can You Kick It” revolves around the majesty of the FA Cup, the little diversion that kicks off it’s third round tomorrow…

The basic rules are pretty familiar. Team selection is more restriced as we start with only one player per club allowed in this round (with it increasing as we progress), however that shouldn’t be too hard with 64 teams to choose from before the deadline closes at 11:30am tomorrow.

If not labouring under a rock somewhere following festivities, I’m sure my colleagues Mark, Foch & Greek Fan will join me in enjoying the fact that (even if only for one week) we can select players from the clubs we support (Forest, Sheff Wednesday, Cardiff & Leicester respectively). There’s nothing like the dual disappointment of club and fantasy team being let down.

Every round is wildcard week in this FA Cup challenge, so whatever team you pick for the third round you don’t have to be concerned about players progressing – the slate can be wiped clean ahead of each round. Other than that the rules are pretty much akin to the CYKI game we play, but can be checked out here.

Prizes are predictably sparse but still better the almost shameful Fantasy Premier League offerings. The top scorer each round walks away with £50 in amazon vouchers, and the overall winner will be taking home a £200 voucher for their efforts.

So if it sounds like this takes your fancy, head on over to CYKI FA Cup and set up a team to play.

Once you have done so, don’t forget to join the Fantasy Football Scout classic league with code: 181-54 and join those already registered. If the H2H is of interest I have set up a league this afternoon with code: 221-618. After 5 rounds of action the top two teams will fight it out in the FFS FA Cup final at Wembley to be crowned the 2010 champion. Hopefully I’ll have caught enough of you so as it’s not just me taking part.

Good luck. Oh, and come on Leicester!
