While the cats away the long throw will play, or so it certainly seems. With Carlos Tevez still shaking his rump in Argentina celebrating the birth of his daughter we have the first of our two double gameweek fixtures to take in this evening.

Both teams have made changes from the reverse of this fixture in the cup last Saturday. Stoke have brought in Delap, Lawrence, Faye & Whitehead in place of the injured Etherington and Wilkinson as well as Tuncay & Diao only good enough for a place on the bench. City have made five changes bringing in Garrido & Richards at full back tonight while Vieira, Johnson, and Santa Cruz come in further up the pitch – all 5 displaced members are fit enough for the bench.

Use this post this evening to discuss all of the evenings action, there’s even a couple of tasty Champions League fixtures going on this evening, so perhaps those of you in the Scout League will be umm-ing and ahhh-ing as Fergie comes face to face with David Beckham for the first time, in a very long time.
